Caitlin Clark has brought unprecedented attention to women’s basketball. And plenty of women’s basketball players seem to resent her for it.
Clark took an away-from-the-ball cheap shot, possibly preceded by this message from her assailant: “You’re a bitch.”
It’s a bizarre situation, to say the least (The more responsible move is to not escalate the situation, and to let the powers-that-be handle it. It remains to be seen whether the powers-that-be will.)

“The thing who attacked her is Butt-Ugly”. I thought so too, looked to be half human and half gorilla. That thing should have been ejected from the game, fined and suspended. That play was simply felonious assault.
That is on the Coach to instill the instinct of TEAM FIRST. He/She/It needs to be fired. Bring in a ball buster, ala Bobby Knight. Put Maurice Lucas or Lonnie Shelton at the helm (enforcers) If a player does not back up another, they are GONE....and NEXT up.

Is she a lesbian? If not, is that the reason there is such resentment, perhaps in addition to her skill level and capability? I dunno, I do not watch women’s basketball and never will.
This was a nothing burger attack. The attacker should have been thrown out out of the game with a fine and a day or 2 suspension. It was uncalled for. That said CC knows how to act..

All the guys came from a variety of background and they all stood for the flag before the game. With the ladies (and trans) most of them refused to stand for the flag and they felt ashamed to represent our nation.
Just heard the league has declassified the cowardly foul as a flagrant foul after the fact.
That’s true in Men’s International Soccer. When they play the anthems you see the players singing, and that’s for EVERY country. if they see somebody not singing, they will be roundly criticized.

Yea, I lived in Brazil my last foreign service assignment. I loved Rio, but stay out of the Fevela’s;) If the map suddendly disappears on your GPS, one of the 5 levels of doemestic police do not control that area.
