Approaching twenty-four hours since President Trump was found guilty of a accounting ledger sheet error and where are our Republicans around the US? Who has spoken, who has been silent?

Nikki Haley is silent, not a word. She's in Israel, wrote a post on X about 7 hours ago, but nothing about President Trump's persecution.

Speaker McConnell wrote on x 21 hours ago "These charges never should have been brought in the first place. I expect the conviction to be overturned on appeal."

Nevada Rep Mark Amodei writes "It’s now pretty clear that politics are the major motivator in the Manhattan DA’s office. Well, those two things have been put in a blender in Manhattan, and I think the end result will reenergize the Trump campaign and take it to new achievement heights. Stay out of New York State if you don’t agree with the left’s political views. If you think justice is blind in New York City, better think again. It is an embarrassing and sad day for a Country that has for hundreds of years operated on the premise that prosecutions and politics should never be mixed.

Nevada Governor Lombardo on X: "I respect the work of the jury but believe that this has been a political witch-hunt in a hostile courtroom. The rule of law should always be applied fairly and without prejudice. President Trump will have an opportunity to appeal, and I expect an unbiased process will vindicate President Trump"

What about other Republicans around the country, in your state? Who's stepping up, even if weakly, and who is silent?

Florida Governor DeSantis wrote shortly after the verdict:

Today’s verdict represents the culmination of a legal process that has been bent to the political will of the actors involved: a leftist prosecutor, a partisan judge and a jury reflective of one of the most liberal enclaves in America—all in an effort to “get” Donald Trump.

That this case—involving alleged misdemeanor business records violations from nearly a decade ago—was even brought is a testament to the political debasement of the justice system in places like New York City. This is especially true considering this same district attorney routinely excuses criminal conduct in a way that has endangered law-abiding citizens in his jurisdiction.

It is often said that no one is above the law, but it is also true that no one is below the law. If the defendant were not Donald Trump, this case would never have been brought, the judge would have never issued similar rulings, and the jury would have never returned a guilty verdict.

In America, the rule of law should be applied in a dispassionate, even-handed manner, not become captive to the political agenda of some kangaroo court.

Indian Businessman Ramaswammy wrote five hours ago: I was on my flight to Italy when the Trump verdict came down. I’m ashamed that people here are asking me what the hell is going on in my own country. Now we’re the banana republic & the rest of the world is laughing.

Sens. Braun and Young of Indiana have critized the trial and verdict as a politically-motivated abuse of the judicial system.

I don’t read Florida news much at all but whenever it includes DeSantis and Republicans, they seem to be setting a great example for the rest of the country.

Yes, money talks. They might not be dependent on the Trump-run RNC but the $$$ coming in over the past 24 hours, including $100 million from Adelsen should get their attention.

Representation? HaHa.

TAXATION without representation.
INFLATION without representation.
DEBT nation without representation.
WAR nation without representation.
DEPOPULATION without representation.

EVIL individuals in and around government are just getting started. Their low-information enablers are excited to carry out the VIOLENCE. Be prepared. Stay safe. Stay alive.
