Dershowitz reasoned, “In the South, when they convicted black people improperly with an all-white jury or acquitted white people improperly with an all-white jury, that didn’t mean that those convictions were correct. It just meant that the jury didn’t reflect the values of our country, it reflected the values of a particular region of the country, in this case the region is a liberal region, New York, in the Southern cases, the region was the conservative region of the South.”

Let’s not go too far down the race track. Otherwise we will become soft on real crimes.
No, he is exactly correct. When blacks were railroaded by all white juries, or when people could murder a black and get away with it with an all white jury, that was not justice.
And that is precisely what happened in New York.
And it helps attract even more blacks to the Trump campaign. Among black males it’s already becoming the cool guy trend.
I see a pair of cuffs that will be unable to hold him. He is going to escape.
Well of course. They needed all white leftist nutcases like DeNiro to pass this sham conviction on to Trump.
I think it shows insecurity and low intelligence, but this is The New Yorker, so that's probably redundant.

That has been moving along quite well. Just look how far it
has advanced sense Columbus sailed in 1492. New rules, new
regulations, new leaders all part of the future. Hang in there
for another 1/2 century and see the future is at that point. A
meal at that time will be just a pill/injection, etc. Living in
outer space will be a thing just circling the globe and being
the participants in the new world. Mixing the genes of multiple
people will produce your child, etc. Instead of moving, moving,
moving it will be circling, circling, circling as you orbit.
Looks like Trump may be America’s true first black president.
FTA: “...in the Southern cases, the region was the conservative region of the South.” See how Dershowitz just slides that in? The South was Demo-land. Not ‘conservative’. Bet that line just slid by a LOT of readers, and thus into their sub-conscious. See how subtle propaganda works? Classic example.
The whole thing reminds me of this skit by Dave Chapelle.

A jury of Donald Trump’s peers, right? I don’t think a sarcasm tag is required.

Actually I think it is supposed to be sexual innuendo. Supposedly small hands correlate with a small penis.
