It might be useful for certain niche searches. If I find one I’ll be happy to share it with you.

My experience is that Google is useful for searching past stories and data on the net.

DuckDuckGo is useful for finding spam as every search result will come back with spam. (LOL)

Yahoo search is useful for searching legal documents. Entering a case number almost always comes back with the specific case and with no further filtering needed. Of note is that Yahoo incorporates Alta Vista into their search tech.

Yandex, although a Russian search engine, tends to be very unbiased when searching information about the USA.

Thanks for the suggestion, though ... if there is a reasonably unbiased and effective search engine we should all use it.
