Hunter Biden used Joe Biden's appearance at a Sandy Hook memorial service to arrange a meeting between his dad and his Chinese business partners, new texts reveal.
The messages come from a fresh tranche of documents released by Congress on Wednesday, given to them by IRS agents who investigated the First Son.
On December 12, 2017 Hunter wrote on the Chinese messaging app WeChat to Liu Yadong, a top executive at Chinese oil giant CEFC, to arrange a meeting with his father.
'Can you meet this evening early,' Hunter wrote. 'My father will be in New York also and he wants me to attend the Sandyhook memorial service with him and I would like him to meet you along with my uncle [Jim Biden] and then you and I can talk let me know if that works.'
'No problem,' Yadong replied. 'Pls let me know where and when to meet.'
The texts to set up a meeting with Joe came after months of negotiation about the Biden family's involvement in the deal with the Chinese government-linked company, in exchange for $10 million a year.
In July 2017 Hunter sent 'threatening' texts to CEFC official Runlong Zhao demanding he follow through on the $10 million deal, and noting his father's involvement.
'I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled,' Hunter wrote, in text messages obtained by the IRS investigators and published by Congress last year.
Weeks later, on August 3, 2017, Hunter texted CEFC associate Gongwen 'Kevin' Dong that he wanted a '[$]10 M per annum budget' and that 'the Bidens are the best I know at doing exactly what the [CEFC] Chairman wants from this partnership.'
At the time Joe Biden held no government post.

I have had enough of this. The US was never a great country if it/we are willing to just put up with this and let it slide.
It is disgusting that criminals in high places just skate as they ruin America and no one will stand and put a stop to it.

This is good evidence that Joe’s family has deep ties to the Deep State and controls much of it.
Over Joe’s 40+ years in the Federal Government he must have built a vast criminal empire within the Federal government.
Joe may be an incompetent statesman but he is showing himself to be a brilliant criminal mastermind.
Had he turned over the reigns of power to a younger man ten years ago he probably would have never faced possible prosecution.
But I suspect that his dementia in the early stages allowed greed to overcome his more reasonable, intelligent decision making processes.
It’s amazing that the Fani Willis and Alvin Bragg DA types will go after Trump, but leave the Clintons, and the Bidens alone to continue doing business as usual. They offer up Menendez as proof that they go after both sides.

Yep. All politicians should fear the press. That helps to keep them in line.
But Democrats no longer have to fear the American mainstream press. That check is gone. So while Democrat behavior is disgraceful, in many ways the behavior of our press is worse.

As Trump wows the public at rallies, Biden seethes behind the castle walls, demanding that his nemesis be convicted and jailed. The next big news day for the regime will be Verdict Day! Oh, how they will celebrate.
And lest you get carried away with the fantasy that maybe they’ll acquit Trump in the city that made him, think again. There is little chance that the jury will go home to their friends and family and confess they passed on the chance to save Democracy because they had a sudden case of reasonable doubt.
Corrupt president, corrupt prosecutor, corrupt judge, corrupt jury. And Rachel Maddow will declare justice was served and Joe Biden will pretend that a bookeeping error was a big enough crime to warrant indicting a former president.
Reasonable Doubt? It’s been eliminated, along with due process and the presumption of innocence. The only thing that matters is whether or not Bette Midler and Stephen King can sleep at night and that Joe Biden gets to sit in the Big Boy chair at the White House and stare back at us with his tiny, angry, squinty eyes and bark about bloodbaths, dictators and “good people on both sides.”
But nothing Biden has done to Trump has helped move the needle in the polls.
