*** Deputies helped trappers capture the alligator and relocate it to a more suitable habitat far from the school.***
Perhaps the Rio Grande?

That is nothing. Recently a 13 foot gator was sighted in Texas. As he moved to LA, MS, AL he kept growing. Texas game officers finally caught him in FL. 21 feet long!

Oh dear! Herman is missing!

Texas game officers finally caught him in FL. 21 feet long! How did Texas fish and game agents wind up in Florida?

Kinda what I was thinking....no telling how many domesticated animals that thinking k has preyed on.
Also, Pinellas has a concetrated population......which probably means more pets

Mike, why do you Floridians tolerate the presence of alligators in populated areas?

"How did Texas fish and game agents wind up in Florida?" That is what I asked my sister when she showed us the photo.
But I was mistaken. It also grew from 21 to 28 feet after the killed it!
