As of today, select Red Lobster locations are CLOSED.
On our Restaurant Equipment marketplace, we are auctioning off 50+ locations across the country.
These auctions are WINNER TAKES ALL – meaning, each winner will receive the ENTIRE contents of the Red Lobster location they bid on.
Auctions are live and will end periodically on Thursday, May 16, 2024.
LIST AT LINK....................
Thirty plus yeas ago when we first married I used to receive a nice 5 figure annual bonus. We would allocate that amount to various things like property taxes, Christmas presents, and vacation expenses. Very nice. No wonder why she married me. Anyway, one year I just wanted to celebrate by going to Red Lobster. My wife refused to go. I still haven’t been to Red Lobster.
No food items included...................
:o I want a lobster tank
Lobsters not included.....................
Funny, https://www.redlobster.com/ doesn’t say they’re closed.
To set the poor lobsters free of course.
I’ll bid $5.75 and not a nickel more...

🤢🤮
no wonder they are closing.
Bump for reference.
I remember our family tradition was, when it was your birthday you got to select where you went for you birthday dinner.
I turned 17 and MY PARENTS selected Red Lobster for me. I’m not pleased. I don’t eat fish or any seafood.
HAHA. True dat... Red Lobster was the finest restaurant in Wichita Falls when I lived there briefly. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t that good.
“”””Grew up and lived on the Alabama Gulf Coast.Red Lobstee was just gross except for the cheese biscuits…””””
Similar here with the Texas Gulf Coast and the real stuff, when I ate at a Red Lobster around 1974 I was shocked and actually puzzled by the whole experience trying to figure out how people could think of it as seafood.
In the 2000s I joined a big group at a Red lobster and while I didn’t order food I sampled some of someone else’s to see if I had been wrong all those years, it was as bad as I remembered.
I could pull Gordon’s frozen seafood out of the freezer at home and eat it with ketchup but to go to a restaurant and call it seafood? No way.
“”””””When I was a kid going to Ponderosa Steak house in Northeast Pennsylvania was the ultimate!””””””
I worked in least one Ponderosa Steakhouse and one or two other similar steak chains.
This is what I had heard was causing the problems. This problem wouldn’t be hard to discontinue if operating costs & prices would fall. Do these auctions include the property such as the building, etc.?
I have to wonder how the Ruth’s Chris Steak Houses & other similar establishments are doing. From what I understand (no personal knowledge) they are the ultimate of the pricier restaurants.
No one ever went broke catering to the wealthy.............
