As long as you ain’t the guy making all those SWAT phone calls. They got DemoNIcrats in charge now, in BKFLD !
If you are black, he is tailgating you just because you are black. If you are white, he is tailgating you just because he can.
You pull over, let him go by.
...Or, follow Han Solo’s advice: “Fly casual.”
Hello from the F*you state.
Find a safe spot and pull over. Wait for him to pass you or initiate contact.
One time a cop got behind me and rode about 4 inches off my bumper on a city street. I started going downhill, building up speed. I was concerned that if I hit my brakes he would hit me. When I reached 11 miles an hour over the speed limit he pulled me over. I told the officer he was following me too close. He actually said, “So you were speeding because I was behind you?” I shut up at that point. He did not write me a ticket. I don’t know what his motivation was for messing with a 50 something year old white guy in an older model pick up truck. I had done absolutely nothing to get his attention. Now if a cop gets behind me I go exactly 5 miles an hour under the speed limit.
I got a ticket once for impeding traffic by going the speed limit.
Any particular bumper stickers on your car that would trigger the pursuit?
The cops in CT still drive Crown Vics? Cool! They were discontinued in 2011.
F’em. Slow down more, all tailgaters suck, especially when they can just pass you.
When a customer would have too much to drink, at my local watering hole, the bartender would say “You’re leaving here tonight in a Crown Vic. You got your choice of colors . . Yellow, or Black and White”. This was before Uber, of course ;)
You’re surrounded.
When a cop follows you he’s not saying to himself, “I presume you innocent, I presume you innocent, I presume you innocent.” He’s saying “I suspect you, I suspect you, I suspect you.”
This projection of guilt by police is what makes everyone’s hair stand on end when they see a cop.
Law officers pledge an oath to the constitution. When they tell you it’s against the law to drive a car without a license, registration and insurance, what law are they enforcing? Are they laws that conflict with their oath to the constitution and betray the public trust? What is it about traveling that is illegal unless you get permission from the government? Is that where we are? Our rights are illegal unless we resister with the government and ask for permission?

All I want is the America I was sold - an America where we don’t have to be afraid of the government for simply living, an America where we live under simple common law and not under complicated, undisclosed legal codes that infringe our guaranteed rights.
simple, put your right blinker on, and pull over...
I have pulled over many times and only one time did a cop pull over. When she asked me if I were having problems I told her I pulled over so she could go around me.
Just slam on the brakes.
