That was used by the finger-pointers to arrest and damage some people, some teachers.
Eventually, somebody pointed out that SOME children do lie, and SOME “mental experts” are experts at planting screwball ideas in kids’ minds.

I blame the media. In the 1600s they showed the movie “Witch Madness”. In the 1950s, it was “Reefer Madness”. Now (just before election) Hollywood is coming out with “Trump Madness”. The public never reads/remembers history. They never learn.
Not sure that should be considered a psychosis like a literal witch hunt. It rather makes me think of Eric Hoffer’s ideas in The True Believer.
I am reading a book recommended by the Dan Bongino show: “Bad Therapy”.
It is scaring the crap out of me, and I just got into the chapter about how they want to use “Therapy Bots” to provide psychotherapy to EVERYONE.

McMartin School is the perfect example of how people can lose center of gravity and spiral into mental astrology. Mass psychosis is the new normal in the Democrat camp. And they are so far gone they don’t have a way forward to regain their sanity.
Political correctness is communist propaganda writ small. In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, nor to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is to co-operate with evil, and in some small way to become evil oneself. One's standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control.
