You are not required to allow an attacker to harm you before you stop the attack.
“What kind of dog was it?”
Click the article.
Here’s good pics of the dog...if you scroll through the instagram pics at this link the last one is a video of the dog:
I was walking down the street after I had a hip replacement. I was using a cane.
2 westies came out to the street and climbing my leg before the owner got them off.
I wrote a letter to them reminding them of of our county and HOAs leash rules.
I told them how much risk they had put me in, and they would have had to pay for very expensive surgery if I had fallen.
I still see those damn dogs walking without a leash in our neighborhood. The dogs are cute, but they have had owners.
Also, I started walking at our senior center to avoid them.
Exactly!
Another dog was present but it did not attack and was left unharmed. Harmon posted the delivery driver's intacart profile on Social media.
Angie Harmon accuses Instacart delivery driver of shooting and killing her dog
Published April 1, 2024 8:22pm EDT"Harmon's followers encouraged her to "make a stand," with one user writing: "Use your networking and media to take this guy down and file a suite [sic] against the police department for not doing anything. If hes [sic] that quick to pull a gun out its [sic] just a matter of time before he does it again or to a person."
I was reading the comments at the link and it’s appalling the number of people who are so outraged about the delivery driver shooting and killing a dog, and claim they’d settle it by shooting and killing the delivery driver.
They clearly don’t see the hypocrisy of their position.
Looks like Pitt Bull and Healer cross.
She said her camera was charging and so there’s no video. He claimed self defense. So, the police let him go.
Looked more like a beagle mix to me
“I hope Angie presses charges.”
You can’t if they are trans.
Cat turds work as well and act as a deterrent to the owner.
Fortunately, the community will respond if you report on the day of the incident.
Again, like your experience, nice dogs - bad owner.
The pit bull was friendly as could be while the heinz tried to nip me.
Fortunately the owner was out and tried to call off the heinz.
I told the owner that I wasn't about to turn my back to his angry mutt.
His reply: "oh, it's friendly."
“Who leaves their dog outside their house in an unfenced yard, unsupervised and then acts surprised when unexpected and tragic events follow?”
I see it all over around me with the “invisible fences”. They are not invisible to coyotes, hawks, dognappers etc which some morons have discovered to their grief.
That may be, but I’m not planning on carrying a bag of cat turds with me while we get in our daily walk.
Most likely well deserved, too bad her dog trusted her, however dogs do that.
Ms. Harmon, the fact is that if you had taken better care of your dog, your dog would still be alive and well.
Your dog deserved better from you.
