Delivery Man Mercilessly Kills Angie Harmon’s Dog
Daily Caller ^ | April 01, 2024 9:25 PM ET | LEENA NASIR

Posted on 04/02/2024 7:05:25 AM PDT by Red Badger

Famous “Law and Order” and “Charlotte” actress, Angie Harmon, said an Instacart delivery man shot and killed her dog.

Harmon wrote a lengthy post to her Instagram account Monday detailing the horror that allegedly happened at her front door. “This Easter weekend a man delivering groceries for Instacart shot & killed our precious Oliver,” she wrote. “He got out of his car, delivered the food & THEN shot our dog.” The actress posted a video and photographs of her small dog as she paid tribute to her beloved family pet.

Harmon went on to share more details with her 584,000 Instagram followers.

“Our ring camera was charging in the house, which he saw & then knew he wasn’t being recorded,” she said.

The actress explained that police were involved in the matter, but much to her dismay, they weren’t able to give her the closure she needed.

“The police let him go b/c he claimed ‘self defense’. He did not have a scratch or bite on him nor were his pants torn,” Harmon wrote.

The star said she was not expecting this particular person to be at her doorstep in the first place.

“He was shopping under a woman’s identity named Merle… the pic is on my story,” she said.

She followed up with some more disturbing information.

“He shot our dog with my daughters & myself at home & just kept saying, ‘yeah, I shot your dog. Yeah I did.’ We are completely traumatized & beyond devastated at the loss of our beloved boy & family member. #RIP OLLIE 🐶🐾🕊️🌈” she wrote.

Harmon turned off the comments on her social media account.

There was no further information provided.

Good thing for the delivery guy that Angie Harmon is of no relation to Mark Harmon (Gibbs on NCIS).

So, her dog was uncontrolled, outside, not on a leash or behind a fence.

The delivery driver was not inside her home.

This appears to be the fault of the dog's owner. The dog's owner was not in control of their dog.

Way too much information missing from this story, but what’shername is clearly using her status and privilege to make an issue of this and gain attention.

Just curious, in what locale did this happen?

There's not enough information on this story, but one will confess that one has never disliked Angie Harmon, if this is the Ms. Harmon that one seems to recall from a couple of TV shows or whatever, at all...

Two things:

1. If you invite someone to your house be it a guest or a delivery driver then you need to secure your dog.

2. Harmon is lucky the cops didn’t kill her other dog(s) when they showed up.

Who leaves their dog outside their house in an unfenced yard, unsupervised and then acts surprised when unexpected and tragic events follow?

There is another side to this story.

We are not hearing the other side.

There are numerous stories on the web about dogs running free and attacking people and animals, often killing animals and sometime people.

The owners seem to have a stock response: It wasn't our fault, or our dog's fault, even when the evidence is clear it was their fault and the dog clearly was aggressive.

It is amazing to me how many dog owners are willing to characterize what their dog did, when they were not at the scene, did not witness what the dog did, and whose characterization of their dog is contradicted by the facts on the ground.

What kind of dog was it?

Chihuahua or Cane Corso ?

Pit Bull or Yorkie ?

Toy Poodle or German Shepard Dog?

It makes a little bit of a difference.

Given the facts as we know them, yes.

We walk our neighborhood daily. We learned a trick from our mailman a few years ago about dogs that aren’t well behaved. We bring dog biscuits with us and throw them away from our path. Works like a charm.

People who are irresponsible and unwilling to take responsibility for their actions.

If you love your dog, you would never leave him at the mercy of a stranger. I just don’t get it.. I see people bring their dogs with them in their cars in a very questionable situation. Just leave them home.. IMO
