I was reading the comments at the link and it’s appalling the number of people who are so outraged about the delivery driver shooting and killing a dog, and claim they’d settle it by shooting and killing the delivery driver.
They clearly don’t see the hypocrisy of their position.
Agree! If she was that concerned about the safety of her dog, it should have been in her house or in a well-fenced yard!
I agree. That dog doesn’t look “small” in that picture.
My thoughts as well. It is not a large dog but it doesn't look small either. Looks large enough to inflict a pretty significant bite and do some damage if it goes into attack mode and inflicts several bites. A dog of 25-30 pounds is a smallish dog but is capable of producing damage on a human. No one has the obligation of standing there and taking bites from someone's uncontrolled dog.
I get the feeling that the cops were thinking that the dog deserved what it got.

Are Freepers going after Angie Harmon because she is a Hollywood actress? A few facts, her main residence is in North Carolina, she was born in Texas. Angie HAD four dogs, neither of these dogs are the one that was killed, which was about thirty pounds. This dog was a friendly, non-aggressive animal. She owns a very private property, has never had any reason to believe this dog was a danger. Maybe the real aggressor was the shooter, after all, Angie lives in a private area with her three daughters. Did the dog sense danger?
