Technofeudalism. Prepare to be a serf.

And, by the way, the lords don’t really need a lot of serfs. Depopulation is very much part of this whole plan.

Texas needs to hurry up and start issuing it’s gold-backed currency. We moved our gold reserves back into the state years ago.

The real reason for the Revolutionary War was a revolt against the Bank of England. The Founders hated the idea of central banks.

It has been underway for a very long time. It began with writing checks, wire transfers, credit cards, online bill pay etc. I just paid all my bills and expenses online. Never touched so much as a penny the last month so far as physical currency is concerned.

Prepper Ping - The Digitization of currency and the cashless society
Geo-restrictions create an ethereal border fence to restrict travel, purchases, and compliance to the administrative order
It will determine what, where, and to whom you may sell

(From the article):" Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC), tie the financial freedom of citizens to the government and the banking establishment.
The central bank issues its centralized digital currencies, and essentially creates a new monetary system,
"fiat on steroids", a system that takes everything that is bad in the fiat system,
and adds more of it; surveillance, control, censorship, and enforcement capabilities."

"A modern prison? Indeed, the CBDC is the ultimate prototype of a prison without physical chains. (Emphasis Mine)
By connecting CBDCs to digital identity cards, and to government systems such as universal basic income,
social credits and more, we get the ultimate control apparatus.
This apparatus will dictate to citizens what they’re allowed to purchase, what the permitted quotas are while limiting consumption
according to rules and use cases, at programmed times, places and cadences."

"The system is able to determine the use of a geographic radius (geo-fencing), and to determine expiration dates on the money.
Each remote controlled digital wallet can also be switched on and off by its operators.
More than 130 countries are in the initial stages of piloting CBDC systems, of which 36 countries are in advanced pilots,
and 3 countries have already launched systems (Nigeria, Jamaica and the Bahamas)…"

Unequivocally the march of evil and evil totalitarianism. It will be far easier for them to instantly do a Canadian trucker move on anyone deemed unacceptable. This clearly is the the precursor to the anti-Christ.

Everyone needs to answer this question.
How will the drug trade exist without cash?
Because drug use is illegal, transactions must be secret and anonymous. Anything digital can be tracked by the government.
Barter for drugs is impractical and use of precious metals is uncommon.
The drug trade trade depends on the end user. These people do not and cannot use sophisticated means of payment that avoids detection without cash.
Now if we see a move to legalise drugs, that is the drugs that bring in lots of profit, then the replacement of cash with digital currencies becomes more likely.
However, there are powerful forces in the government that depend on the drug trade. These include the courts, police state, prisons. And outside government such as money laundering banks.
Also keep in mind that the drug trade is largely in dollars so this supports the demand and therefore the price of dollars.

Nobel Prize economist F.A. Hayek (author of The Road to Serfdom) had the right idea, decades ago. I read this great book in grad school.

Is it past time to stock up on standard ‘bartering’ items?

Whiskey.
Warm Socks.
Cigarettes & Cigars.
Bullets.
Canned Goods.
Powdered Milk.
Porn. (LOL!)

CBDC, implemented the way that governments and one-Worlders want, is the key to Prison Planet - and THEY are not the prisoners.

I believe that some form of CBDC is, sadly, inevitable. As such, there appears to only be one way to combat it, which is to have assets in an alternate and uncontrollable (for them) digital format. That would be something like Bitcoin. From everything that I have read, the only way to have absolutely secure possession of your bitcoin, or any other cryptocurrency, is to have it on a “cold wallet.” Another layer of protection would be to have a requirement that two out of three, or three out of five, people give the appropriate code phrase in order to open that wallet and access the funds. Reduction of risk can be achieved by having multiple cold wallets, preferably in different physical locations. That way you always have access to at least some of your digital money.
