Jeremy Boreing, the CEO of The Daily Wire who announced Candace Owens’s departure from the outlet last Friday, blasted his former employee for using the phrase “Christ is King” to justify her descent into overt anti-Semitism over the last few months.
The refrain first gained attention last fall when Owens used it amidst a row with her then-colleague Ben Shapiro. She has since fallen back on it a number of times in order to justify her advancement of various anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.

The point is, I want to know the spin on this story. Specifically, I want to know if this is lefties trying to run a disruption operation against the DailyWire and other RightWorld media sites.
It would be highly uncharacteristic for Jeremy Boering or Ben Shapiro to unload publicly on Candace Owens like that. Yes, Shapiro is Jewish, and yes, he has gone to war on the October 7 massacres and the aftermath. It would be entirely in character for Shapiro to torch Hamas apologists like that, in any forum, but that is not the way the DailyWire operates within the club. Which until recently included Candace Owens.
My guess is that Ben and Candace were having some disagreements off screen and that some conversations eventually escalated. Shapiro is an observant Jew, and he has had many perfectly civil conversations with Christian cohosts and guests on any number of podcasts over the years. He doesn’t blowtorch Christians for being Christian.
Candace has drifted recently into some pretty sketchy remarks here and there; she might have edged over a line that she should have respected and Ben called her on it. Neither is the type to run up a white flag if challenged.
My guess is that a private conversation went off the rails and escalated beyond the “I shouldn’t talk to my boss that way” point of no return. My guess is also that neither Candace nor Ben would ever speak publicly about such a break. So my third guess is that a stray comment about the spat leaked and a leftie got wind of it. Now the lefties are trying to spin an unfortunate incident into something more than it should be and goad everyone into overreacting to it.
The time is coming, hopefully soon, that every knee will bow and every tongue will confess the truth, that Jesus Christ is Lord.
P.S. I should have been a bit more specific. Shapiro has had numerous perfectly respectful, civil and friendly podcast dialogues specifically on Judaism and Christianity, not only with other DailyWire contributors but also other people interested in the interfaith dialogue. He and Andrew Klavan, for example, get along very well, but they don’t bait or insult each other. The same is true when Shapiro talks to others. It’s all very respectful. How he and Candace Owens got to spitballing in private conversations, I don’t know, but I would be surprised if either of them would make that quarrel public.

Other anti-Semitic tropes? Question being.... is it anti-Semitic to criticize JINOs? Especially the deviant ones in Hollywood? I think not. They’d have to be Jews first over politics, vs. dead last, I’m thinking.... in order to qualify as anti-Semitic. Sounds like the JINOs are not happy being dissed and pointed out.

Also it’s relevant to somehow distinguish between “Jewish” the ethnicity (or maybe even set of ethnicities) and “Jewish” the faith.
The ethnicity question is a mess, and fraught with actual haters (like Farakkan) but many of the ethnic-Jewish propagators of communism and globalism could be said to come from a subset of the Jewish DNA.
Regarding faith, the ‘reform’ seems synonymous with ‘leftist’ in the same way ELCA does for Lutherans, and there seem to be an even larger number who are just basically atheists but want the label “Jewish” as a shield. (e.g., open lesbians and homosexuals who still screech anti-Semitism without a second glance at Torah.)
So lengthy on my part but in the statement “it’s someone who Jews dislike” I wanna stick the word “nominal” in there because the cancel-culture, neo-Marxist people have nothing in common with any observant Jew I’ve met or heard of.
Well I don’t know about the blood part but there’s definitely a Jewish gang in hollywood. For crying out loud, look at how many of the stars (specifically comedy) are Jewish. it’s shocking.

So every time I hear there is a war on Christmas, I should split it into a religious comment or a cultural comment? You think that has nothing to do with Christians and their faith? I am constantly shocked at the lengths people will go to try to separate Israel and Jews. It is ONE. Whether you like it or not.
