The findings were presented Monday at an American Heart Association meeting in Chicago and focused on a popular version of intermittent fasting that involves eating all your meals in just eight hours or less...commonly known as "time-restricted" eating...People who adhered to the eight-hour eating plan had a 91 percent higher risk of dying from heart disease compared to people...who eat their food across 12 to 16 hours each day.

Nope. And that study has been debunked as another very narrow limited focus smear. Plenty of docs on YouTube laughing that one off.
Fasting? pssh.
I’ll fast when I’m dead. I’ll feast while I’m alive.
/sarc or no sarc. can’t decide.
The normal way to eat is breakfast lunch and dinner. Breakfast at 7 lunch at noon, dinner at five.... That is a 14 hr fast, or is it now healthier to snack all night? FAKE study, eat MORE get FAT, make us MONEY on all ends. Food, medicines, and control of the populace.
Only 9 short months to go! Hand in there, Laz.
Proper link..
I haven’t read the study itself but it was peer-reviewed and published in Nature. Are you thinking of an older study?
🙋🤓👍💯
i do too!same time frame
Fluoride is in the same class as Chlorine. It kills bacteria. Killing bacteria in the mouth, and in the digestive system, leads to the health issues we have today. If you want less cavities, quit eating sweets and feed children a solid diet with healthy food and vitamin rich fruits and nuts.
Stopped reading at “American Heart Association”.
If true, all those Muslims fasting during Ramadan are in big trouble.
I regularly do 72-hour fasts, it’s a breeze, don’t even think about food during it. And I workout during it.
While fluoride itself does not directly kill bacteria, it inhibits the growth of bacteria that produce acids, which can lead to tooth decay.
I started out doing longer fasts, but my darling wife was terrified she would no know what days I was going to be eating and she would only have supper for herself and my son, leaving me craving food. So I settled for this plan, and she knows Friday is the day for me to break my fast.
Eat breakfast like a king
Lunch like a prince
Dinner like a pauper
It also inhibits bacteria that together with your digestive systems helps you make your own Nitric Oxide to relax your colon an blood vessels. Leading to lower blood pressure. The rinsing with alcohol bases mouthwashes, and taking prilosec type of antacids, together screw up your digestive system. Clean teeth, but don’t sterilize your mouth is the way to go.
From what I read and hear, the type of fluoride put into our water, is waste and cheaper to sell to the towns, than get rid of. We don’t need it in our drinking water, they likely couldn’t sell bottle water for kids if it had fluoride in it.
I have to take Prilosec or another PPI or end up in the ER unable to swallow, even water.
And take L-arginine which promotes nitric oxide production.
A new study cites the health risks of intermittent fasting. Could it lift Ozempic sales?
Behind a paywall, but the headline says it all.
🤓👍
I trust other qualified studies, that prove otherwise, over the American Heart Association.
They’re as bad as the American Cancer association and the CDC.
I think you nailed it right there.
A big lesson of Covid was how much Big Pharma owns and corrupts everything.
