Looks to me this is a indoctrination effort to get libs to put their kids in dangerous schools. Child safety is never mentioned. Of course it only applies to lower income libs, Obama libs go to expensive, exclusive private schools.
With is happening in the public schools today, I would not put any children in any of them no matter what its racial balance.
I am frightened by loud adults. I have seen first hand how quickly loud turns angry and I want nothing to do with it. I have seen how loud adults become violent and I want nothing to do with it. Black is 13 percent of the the population and I will send my child somewhere the student body is 13 percent black. Which is a true representation.
Well...it’s for many reasons. One of the main reasons is that they know that colleges worth attending don’t think much of a diploma from Martin Luther King Jr High School.
It falls flat to say how wonderful the school is after leading with an anecdote about a volunteer’s determination to put a small child in the wrong car.

Sounds like the virtue signaling author is misrepresenting in the title where her child is going to school to amp up her virtue signaling street cred. She is not going to a black school. She is going to a primarily Spanish school. World of difference between the two when it comes to violence perpetuated against small white contingencies attending them. They are two totally different cultures. I think this posturing woman considers all who are not white as black.
So why won’t her mom let the daughter wear clicky and awesome beads?
Blacks who’ve been successful also don’t put their kids in majority black schools....see the Obamas.
I see white parents in my area sometimes will live in the city while their kids are in elementary school but when they are ready for junior high they sell the house and move to the suburbs.
White kids are not safe in predominantly black schools. There is inherent hatred against white kids by black kids. If you have white kids or grandkids do all you can to get them to private schools, even if you have to go into hock.
The writer does not identity themselves or the place, so neither can any of the story be verified. It may be a work of fiction.
This is a bit of propaganda to mitigate the black murder of a white girl in Missouri in high school. I would never send my kids to an all black school because I love them.

Because then they have to end up homeschooling their kids because the teachers spend too much time trying to teach the unteachable. It’s the #DiversityTax.
My son had the ‘privilege’ of being one of only 11% white kids at a black middle school in SC...
He started the school year at the correct school for our district and 2 weeks later we were informed that he had been moved to a black school in the next district..
he went from a very good school where the students were taught academics to the school where I had to teach him when he came home at night because there was little readin ritin and rithmetic...
They did however have a champion marching band with free instruments and uniforms and an invite to the first MLK Day parade in Atlanta...
My son played the Alto Eb Saxophone and was top of his class because he learnt to sight read the music while most of his classmates had difficulty..
But he did get to go on that trip to Atlanta cost free...
He rode on the bus to his new school passing the good school on the way ...
