I’m not having a problem with larger natural sheep breeds. That’s worth looking into for my own flock, usually US/European/Australian crosses. What are the chances that the US stepped out of line here. Sadly greater by the day.

When you bring in species that can cross and / or compete with your native species you are asking for trouble.
Ask the Brits about their problems with the Eastern grey squirrel.
Could this have ended badly? Yes.

Yeah I like lamb chops but they’re kind of small. If Tyson did the same thing to sell big lamb chops at a big profit would fedgov have a problem with it or is it the fact that he was breeding them big for that evil act of hunting?
