Boeing already is buying back the unit they split off that is/was resposible for putting together the fuselage. Look for Boeing to bring more units back in house, seeking to improve quality control,

Well, at least it was a 777 instead of a Max. And it’s not like you’d expect mechanics to look at a plane before it took off for a trans-Pacific flight. But if if was going by way of LA, it was headed the wrong direction to get to Japan.
