Thanks judy! I figure if I never get to venezia, I’ve brought it into my home. If I quit rescuing kittens and have some money left, I might be able to get there eventually. But I’d actually rather Rescue kittens, It is so rewarding.
The low-cost Clinic called me yesterday, wanted to know about my last set because the rescue that has them wanted their medical records. That must mean they haven’t been adopted out yet. I really wonder what’s going on, but not enough to contact that horrible lady. On the other hand I really want Bessie so.... I would have to talk to her.
But I’d have to get hubby’s and Sable’s permission first...so not likely

Your post just gave me an idea for a rescue. I’d have to win the lottery first because I think it only works with a brick and mortar rescue where you can keep the animals in different rooms.
B u t how about rent-a-pet?
People can temporarily adopt their cat or dog. Then when they want to go on a trip or just have more free time, they can give it back. It probably wouldn’t be available the next time they wanted a pet unless they said so and could guarantee they would. Otherwise it’s not fair to leave the animal in a shelter when they could be in a home. But there would need to be lots and lots of room in the shelter just in case everybody came back at once. The logistics is probably difficult but I think that’s great for retired people or just about anybody. And better that the animal comes back to my shelter then be put on the streets or with somebody that doesn’t really want it

I did see something this morning on the no-confidence vote, but I’ll check up on it shortly. They don’t expect anything to come of it other than publicly putting the libs and ndp on record as pushing for the carbon tax increase.
