A Hooters location in Charleston, West Virginia, saw hundreds gather for a candlelight vigil in honor of the building being demolished to make way for a gas station.
Former employees and residents gathered to share hugs and tears while mourning the loss of the building via candlelight. The location had become a local landmark before its closure.
A sizeable group of young men also gathered at the building site to hoot, holler, and even crowd-surf.
"Long live Hooters!" the crowd yelled, as the youngsters screamed enthusiastically into local news cameras.

Never stepped foot in a Hooters, I’m fairly sure I haven’t missed much.
Hooters wings were the worst, but that was never the reason to visit the place.

The ones at the Ft. Myers Beach, Florida one (before the hurricane took it out) weren’t bad. Or so a friend told me.

I was in a hooters w0+ years ago. My buddy used to say hooters is the place where the food sucks but in spite of the waitress appeared they didn’t suck so the place just was a fools errand.

Got dragged into a Twin Peaks once. Really good chicken fried steak and mashed taters. Better than Babes. No joke. And Babes has waitresses who wear clothes.
