The world just experienced its hottest January on record, continuing a run of exceptional heat fuelled by climate change, the European Union's Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) said on Thursday (Feb 8).
Last month surpassed the previous warmest January, which occurred in 2020, in C3S's records going back to 1950.
The exceptional month came after 2023 ranked as the planet's hottest year in global records going back to 1850, as human-caused climate change and the El Nino weather phenomenon, which warms the surface waters in the eastern Pacific Ocean, pushed temperatures higher.

Mail your checks to the UN, they’ll cool us off.
Sure it was, are the grants for crank “Scientist” dwindling?
🦬💩
Lol. Still cooler than the Roman Warm Period, the Medieval Optimum, the Minoan Warm Period, the Jurassic Age, etc etc etc.

Eurofeces.
Powerline Blog, which I read first every morning, had graphs up last year showing the history of climate change. It goes. up, it comes down over many many centuries. Tests were taken of various geographic things.

So uh… yeah this article is BS
Put another log on the fire....
It’s starting to feel good.

Indeed!
So what? Has the sky fallen? What adverse effect has this had on humanity?
I doubt it’s even based on that.
Well, Tell that to TN.
The Dust Bowl in 1934-36 had temps in the 100s in places like Minnesota. What is going on now is just normal variation.
Nah,
2025 was hotter.
What about 2525?
