No television program in history drew more eyeballs than the Kansas City Chiefs’ 25-22 overtime victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
The game wound up with a total audience delivery of 123.4 million average viewers across the platforms of CBS, Paramount+, Nickelodeon, Univision and CBS Sports.
According to CBS Sports, 202.4 million viewers watched all or part of the game, which concluded with the Chiefs’ third Super Bowl win in the last five years. That number is the highest unduplicated total audience in history and up 10 percent against last year’s Super Bowl total of 184 million.
On CBS, the 120 million viewers was the largest audience in history for a single network.

Go woke go broke
One word: Taylor Swift
And that’s another bandwagon I didn’t get on.
Until I heard some friends talking about it on Friday or Saturday, I honestly thought the game was next weekend.
No wonder I had the golf course to myself.
Joe Biden? IZZAT you?..............
Somebody is lying. That’s not what I’ve be reading. You just can’t trust da internet anymore. It’s 90% balony and 10% pinto beans.
Actually, even if I had wanted to watch, I wouldn’t have been able to. My son was driving home from a wedding about ten hours away. An hour from home his water pump blew up and I had to go pick him up.
I was born a few months before tbe first Super Bowl. Not sure what I was parked in front of as a baby, but this was definitely the first one in over half a century that I did not see even a single play of. Did not miss it. Not at all.
Almost as much as the Putin interview.
I ended up watching due to being invited over to a good friends house for food and the game. Otherwise my TV has not been polluted by the NFL in several years.
It was a good game, and Patrick Mahomes is a huge draw now, along with the Chiefs, who have an expanding national identify. Like it or not, the annoying Taylor Swift (unproven, but likely in place) marketing deal with the NFL is working.
how was the food?!
NFL has made their deal with the devil.
I bet more women watched the SB than men.
I don’t believe it either. And why should I?
Glad I didn’t contribute to that number. I was watching “Patton” while the Super Bowl was on.
Take away the commercials, take away the Trylor Swift/Travis Kelce effects, and you end up with half the audience. The game by itself if not that big a draw.
Take away the half-time Usher krap, and the audience might have been bigger. At half-time, I preferred watching the puppy bowl, even as a repeat.
