~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Travelers on a Nevada highway hit an unusual traffic hiccup when an overturned truck covered the roadway in cans and bottles of Dr. Pepper and 7Up.
Nevada State Police said the truck overturned on Interstate 80, between Mogul and Garson in the Reno area.
The truck ended up on its side, spilling crates loaded with cans and bottles of Dr. Pepper and 7Up into the roadway.
No injuries were reported from the truck crash or the ensuing soda spill.
NHP said traffic in both directions was reduced to one lane due to multiple minor crashes in the area.
Cheerwine and RC were my two favorites of soft drinks.
Almost never touch one now.
Next to Sweet Tea, Dr. Pepper is King in the South.
That truck was likely carrying some Snapple Peach Tea . . . same company.
Mr. Pibb or Pibb xTra? Wikipedia claims that Pibb xTra replaced Mr. Pibb. However, Wikipedia has been wrong before. I found some Patio strawberry soda at a Bojangles long after Wikipedia claimed it was gone. I wonder if anyone still carries Coke II (New Coke)?
Too bad. I heard it was heading to a “None of these candidates” victory party.
That is right out of a Libertarian Party Convention.   They always pride themselves on having a NOTA choice at the bottom of every ballot.   And of course the most represented Libertarian Party State is Nevada.
DR. PEPPER!
It’s so misunderstood!
It’s the most original soft drink ever in the whole wide world!...................
From the picture, it looks more like it covered the grass on the side of the highway, rather than the highway itself.
