All of the award shows have this kind of oddness. Something will clean up on the “minor” awards but not even be nominated for the “big” ones. People will win the “minor” ones over and over and never get sniff of the “big” one. It’s honestly the only part of award season that’s actually interesting, trying to figure out what kind of drugs the voters are on that led to that weirdness.
