“I don’t want to embarrass this young lady, but she has more Grammys than anyone, and never won album of the year,” he said of Beyoncé. “Even by your own metric that does not work. Think about that, most Grammys, never won album of the year, that doesn’t work.”

So he is there to accept an undeserving award, and blasts the Grammy's for not giving his wife Beyonce an album of the year award.

So when I think of people with poor and bad behavior I think of Will Smith, and Killer Mike getting arrested after receiving 3 awards, and Jay Z making an ars of himself.

Every few years, some guy gets up on stage and insists that Beyonce is due some award that she didn't get - I'd assume she's embarrassed by all this and wishes they'd shut up.

The awards themselves are a joke and have been for many decades. I remember when I was a kid back in the '70s and the grown ups were laughing about Christopher Cross getting a Grammy for this godawful song that used to play on AM radio - "Sailing".

I doubt very much if the Recording Academy has any ex post facto rules. So the solution here is simple. The Academy should go back ten years, rescind all the Album of the Year awards, and give them to Beyonce.
