35% ?

Obviously a typo or some other type of error. Real number is at least 75%.

The problem is that half of Americans will believe anything the fake news tells them, and vote accordingly.

We have a name for these people: Democrats.

If you know any, you’ve observed what I’ve observed:

They actually think the economy is booming.
They think it’s good that the border is open.
They think we should end the use of petroleum based fuel and ICE vehicles.

They think Trump is a dictator.
They think whether to be a boy or a girl is something children should choose.

The list goes on.. but you get the point - they are really, really stupid.

“President Biden is drowning.”

Someone throw him a cinderblock, quick!

One thing I’ve been enjoying asking people the last few months: whichever side wins in november, how do you think the other side will respond?

Hence my tagline.

Yeah, that struck me too. I think he’s quite beyond ‘early stage’.

Bill O’Reilly has to play both sides. A debate would help Joe Biden, the same guy who reads from flash cards from pre-approved questioners? This is the same BOR who said that Trump should have congratulated Biden for becoming president, after he stole it.

“the Dems don’t seem to be worrying one little bit” -— several Democrats have publicly expressed concern.

No mention of the Great Democrat Vote Fraud Machine. Shame!

My thoughts exactly. I live in PA. Every time I email my "PA state government" reps, who are republicans, about fixing PA voter fraud, I get no reply. The republican party at both federal and state levels continue to major in minors; they are feckless concerning fixing voter fraud.

There is no republic without lawful and fraud free elections.

I often wonder why his body just doesn’t give up and pass on. All the signs of elderly demise are there. Why does he linger to torment us? Just to keep us from being tormented by Harris?

People can hang on a very long time physically while the mind progressively disappears. We have a relative going through this now; it’s very difficult and heartbreaking, and so far not much can be done about it.

“The average American has had enough w Biden and the Democrats.”

************

Your average American today is passive, indifferent, poorly informed, and therefore easily manipulated. The national ethos ain’t what it used to be. Nowadays the average American is generally accepting of big government’s control over their lives and they vote accordingly. Just saying.

And that's what keeps me awake at night. Are the American people ready for self-government?

The UniParty is firmly united in the power their advocacy of socialism has won them

A strong panel of several third party candidates would prob sink the Uniparty and kick the MAGA coalition of the electorate to the top pretty easily

Republicans who keep voting for losers and appeasers in their own party also share responsibility for the mess the country is in.

We were once defined as a law abiding, freedom loving, industrious people. That doesn’t describe today’s crop of Americans IMO.

There has been a cultural revolution that has eroded our ethics and values that has contributed to the creation of widespread dependency upon an ever expanding government. We keep voting for more and more government and then wonder why its become so inefficient, corrupt and unresponsive.

Self-government can only succeed in a favorable environment characterized by an informed populace that reveres liberty and demands accountability from its elected representatives. We no long satisfy those criteria IMO.

We have a name for them too - RINO.

But yes, I do agree the Republican Party is a mess - the leadership is full of RINOs and half the Republican voters are still unable to distinguish who is a RINO and who is not.

But I’m telling you there IS a difference when you talk to a Democrat voter - they are totally full of shit. They believe the craziest things.

Republican voters can be very stupid - but the Democrat voter is an order of magnitude more stupid.

That’s a fair assessment. I worked around lots of liberals and let me reaffirm your point: their ability to ignore facts, logic and the lessons of history sets them apart from all other rational beings.

Republican stupidity stems largely from weakness and apathy IMO. They see and know what’s going on but they lack the motivating force (i.e., intestinal fortitude) to do anything about it. They talk about principles but they’re completely lacking in conviction. Not coincidentally, this is what Democrats take advantage of when they want to manipulate Republicans.

“They talk about principles but they’re completely lacking in conviction. Not coincidentally, this is what Democrats take advantage of when they want to manipulate Republicans.”

Right. Also, the distinction needs to be made between Democrat leaders and Democrat voters. The Democrat leaders are far from stupid - they are extremely smart in fact - it’s the Democrat voters that are stupid.

Republican Party it’s often the opposite - the voters are often smarter than those who represent us.

I think the reason is that people on the right mostly want to mind their business and be left alone. Seeking political office is more like minding everyone else’s business - completely against our nature.

So real conservatives usually hate the idea of going into journalism or show business or politics. That’s why those industries are dominated by Leftists.

Even in my small town, I get so annoyed by the pin-head busybodies who are on the town council. I complain about them and my dear wife says “If you don’t like the way things are being run, why don’t you speak up and get involved - run for town council or even mayor?”

My answer is that I can’t stand those people - why wood I want to become one?

Agree. I would like for the people we vote for to simply focus on cutting government down to size. Defund everything that’s wasteful, duplicative, and unnecessarily bureaucratic basically.

One thing that Republicans don’t seem to get is that Democrats use government as a cudgel. They weaponize everything they can to increase their control over people. We simply have to start electing people who are committed to taking this weapon away from them. There’s no sense in voting for anyone who isn’t committed to doing this IMO.
