Yesterday I ran into somebody that I haven't seen in a while. I haven't seen this guy for months. He’s been here for about five months in the United States. Six months something like that. And he says uh hey I'm uh I’m looking for work. And I said well I can't hire you man I'm not I I got to hire like legitimate people or whatever. And he was like no no no I'm I'm legitimate now and he broken English kind of bits and pieces together and he pulls his ID and stuff out of his pocket. And he says I got social security card now and I got workers ID and permit for working everything all legit. Stamp City stamping specialized Social Security envelope and I said let's go inside real quick. I need a translator and I a couple of my guys they speak Spanish. And and uh i'm talking to them and uh it says…so where are we at with uh time frame? Um how long did it take you to get your social Security card and your workers permit? He said maybe three and a half, four months. Uh finished in my hand. This dude got his freaking work permit and social security card. Came here illegally got documented. Got on the buses from Texas to Chicago. Got processed here in Chicago, found an apartment building within the first week. An efficiency apartment. Moved into the apartment building, and then has been working cash jobs under the table for the last four months. Until recently uh got his workers permit now he's working for a roofing company.
if you have a ss card and dl
why do you need a work permit?
He’s doing more than just working. He’s voting, too.
AFL-CIO manages some of this.
It doesn’t read as real. Was this translated/transcripted from a video?
But things like Social Security cards, IDs, permits, and the like can be stolen or forged. And have been for decades!
“Processed” is the worrying part to me. Who is doing that? Crooks forging documents? Or an official agency using some legality to circumvent the intent of the law by doing as much?
any American who works for a living or wants to find work, should definitely notice how the current WashingtonDC regime is undercutting their jobs

TO DAY!
Same thing
It took 27 months to get my Thai wife a SSN doing things legally, and had to pay $$.
about 18 months and around 10K to get my wife hers 18 years ago.
Yup. Exactly. It’s Illinois, one of the bluest of the blue states. Trump would well to stay away from this state and not waste his campaign money here.
Unfortunately many Americans don’t want to work. This guy seems very motivated to work for a living. It’s a shame Americans are not the sane.
7 years for a court date to prove he’s really a refugee, but 3 months to get paperwork done. Is it a coincidence that 7 years us usually the statute of limitations point?
“But things like Social Security cards, IDs, permits, and the “like can be stolen or forged. And have been for decades!
Yeah...I aint buying that. Not when these days every state shares all that information and with the feds also on inter-networked computers that all update simultaneously. Hell, if i get a traffic ticket in any state it immediately shows up on my insurance. I bet these social security cards are either legit or the shadow groups that are supplying them are working with the govt’s who are accepting them at least on a temporary basis.”
Before I retired one of my jobs was doing safety orientation for subcontractors. Let me assure you, this is real. Fake IDs and social security numbers are a dime a dozen. I watched people have to pull their IDs out to write their name of their paperwork. Another little secret; if the fake ID has a U.S. citizen’s name on it, and the social security number matches that name, the person with the fake ID will get through an E-Verify check. There is apparently no system in place that will flag if U.S. citizen Jose Garcia, with a legitimate SS number, is working in 10 different parts of the country at the same time.
bttt
They can even file for benefits in several states and have the $$ sent to one address. For decades the feds have not simply taken the SS#’s from each state’s welfare systems and compared them. This is something that could be done for a few thousand dollars.
” Came here illegally got documented “
A Mexican solution: Undocumented? Just print some documents up, man!
No problemo.
