Apple is urging all iPhone users to download the latest iOS 17 update after the tech giant found 15 security issues that may have exposed users' sensitive data.
The tech giant rolled out iOS 17.3 on Monday with several features and bug fixes.
One of the exploits was discovered in Mail Search, where third-party apps could access information, and another in Safari that may have let the user's private browsing activity be visible in Settings.
The updated software is not all doom and gloom as iOS 17.3 includes the new Stolen Device protection, which promises to prevent cybercriminals from locking iPhone users out of their accounts in the event a smartphone is stolen.

Didn’t we just have BlaKKK History Month? Or was that Faggot Appreciation Month??!? They all run together!
>> Is it true the new update automatically syncs up with the FBI and transmits everything you did directly to the FBI daily???
That feature was in iOS 7.3. :-)
Same with me I used to think I would never touch an Apple device and then I got one for free to use for work and now I have 5 Apple devices
Nope. And I don’t run it on my android phone.
I’m glad to hear it. My Windows machine crashed last fall, and it took the shop a while to fix it. Luckily, I had most of my files backed up, and they also used an older machine I still had to help piece things back together.
IOS 17 is a beta update. 16.7.5 is the update number for standard users.

assembled in China with parts made elsewhere including in the US - assembly now moving to Vietnam and India. China is closing out its low end assembly manufacturing across the country and moving to a headquarter economy. The ‘Changing of the bird in its cage’, as its known in China.
FWIW I carry a Linux phone if you would like to have a conversation some day about it. Not a custom Android-based hack ROM. Its UBports so full Linux.
You do have to make some choices but I for one am glad to be completely away from leftist big-tech companies like Google and Apple once and for all.
