Apple is urging all iPhone users to download the latest iOS 17 update after the tech giant found 15 security issues that may have exposed users' sensitive data.
The tech giant rolled out iOS 17.3 on Monday with several features and bug fixes.
One of the exploits was discovered in Mail Search, where third-party apps could access information, and another in Safari that may have let the user's private browsing activity be visible in Settings.
The updated software is not all doom and gloom as iOS 17.3 includes the new Stolen Device protection, which promises to prevent cybercriminals from locking iPhone users out of their accounts in the event a smartphone is stolen.

Apple?
Sorry, I cannot use that stuff, I am not a ho.....
My iPhones SE and 7 stopped at 15. something , LOL
Not an iPhone fan... Had my current phone 3 years, one before that I had about 8 years... They both madephone calls when needed.
Does it fix the Battery Won’t Charge when the power level is below 12%?
Is it true the new update automatically syncs up with the FBI and transmits everything you did directly to the FBI daily???
At times I think about going Mac for myself.
Mostly for some graphics and video editing.
Windows I’ve become less impressed with all around,
Made in China...or at least most of them.
Where I used to work the company phone was an iphone, so when my old phone died, I got one. About 6 months later I got an ipad which is essentially a big format phone. I was impressed with how the two synced up. Then my old Windows machine was dying so I took the plunge and got an imac. Very easy to use fast.
I’ve had windows forever and never got a virus either. And it’s a larger platform targetted for attack.
NO. Weekly......................
I was glad to get away from Android with our first ever Apple products (iPhone 13) a year ago. But the iOS updates have been rather frequent and the BLM cr@p just tarnishes the experience.
Done. Thanks.
Same here. I've locked my PC at Windows 10 Pro (22H2), and when it becomes EOL in October 2025, all of my Internet browsing and account access will be from a Linux OS.
Do you run virus protection?
I do not.
Also iOS 16.7.5
I’ve never looked back.
Things just work.
I think back about how many times windows self-destructed, needed to be reinstalled, needed to run virus software, needed to reinstall drivers, etc. How much time I spent fixing family computers...
Wish I could have that time back.
I get the feeling you know what you’re talking about.
I see updates for this iPud touting new emojis or other inane stuff, and I think, “Yah, and a whole lot you’re not telling me”.
I use it as little as possible and the same goes for updates.
The smart phone, which I don’t have, is the Mark of the Beast.
Thanks!
Fwiw, my iPhone 6S updates to 15.8.1 with this one.
Yeah, I trust ‘em.
