I live in MTG’s district. I keep telling people that we either keep sending her, or my wife runs for that seat. That scares the crap out of me.

There will be no rebuilding restoring or construction while the current regime keeps the war going. Refuses to negotiate with Russia. Refuses to accept that territory inhabited by majority ethnic Russian speakers including Crimea will become part of Russia. And that Ukraine will not become part of NATO which is now irreconcilably viewed as offensive pact not defensive pact by Russia.

"We need you in Ukraine to build, to reconstruct, to restore our lives,"
the Ukrainian president said.

What's the pay scale?

(quoted from the article)

“While GOP critics like Greene have claimed that U.S. aid to Ukraine has only worked to prolong the conflict unnecessarily, supporters have hit back, arguing that a lack of new aid from Western allies would see Ukraine lose the conflict to Russia, and accusing the critics of working towards Russian President Vladimir Putin's own goals.”

(military objectives)

Ukraine is not taking the lost land back. The last opportunity for that faded away with the failure of the last Ukrainian counter offensive.

Like 2014 and the Crimea, this 18% of their Eastern land and population is gone, history, it's part of Russia now. Russia went in with a limited objective and never intended to seize all of Ukraine as this would be a nightmare for them. That is us creating some new goal post and pretending we succeeded even though we lost.

Ukraine lost its most significant industrial area and a major port city which is also the core of their steel industry.

***Ukraine has failed in accomplishing their military objective of preventing Russia from seizing the Eastern and largely ethnic Russia areas.

(political objectives and cause of war)

Ukraine is not nor will they be a member of NATO on the foreseeable future.

***Ukraine has failed in accomplishing its political objective and cause of this war, NATO membership.

What are they talking about when they think Ukraine hasn't already lost?

The Forward Edge of Battle Area (FEBA) is hardly moving.

It's not Russia that is seeing their infrastructure blown to pieces, or their economy implode. That would be Ukraine.

It's not Russia which is facing a demographic disaster nor massive internal instability. That would be Ukraine.

This is a brain dead patient on life support (regards the war). Keeping him on life support will not change the outcome.

Ukraine is cooked.

If you actually care about Ukraine, end this retarded war and spend the resources we are pissing into the wind on reconstruction of a nation that we are largely responsible for when we pushed them into a war: https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/ukrainian-president-zelenskiy-holding-talks-with-biden-adviser-says-2021-12-09/

I'm not saying to cut Ukraine off, rather spend it on bringing them back to their feet. Continue arming them, providing intel and advisors to make any additional Russian military action costly, but end this waste of life and economic Harakiri and make the focus on reconstruction.

Zelensky will never agree to a cease fire and peace talks until he is cut off by Congress. And he must know and understand he has to give up the pro-Russian populated eastern oblasts - those east of the Dnieper River.
