Texas National Guards were seen using riot shields in an attempt to hold back a horde of migrants crossing at Eagle Pass.
New footage taken of a clash which happened a month ago shows guardsmen narrowly avoid being hit by a rock as they struggle against the steady stream of asylum seekers.
A record number of migrants have been passing through the Texan border in recent months, with 14,000 making it over in 24 hour period last month.
Video shows the reality on the ground as asylum seekers are seen scrambling over razor wire and through mud in a desperate attempt to reach the US.
All the while, the Texas national guard can be seen attempting to block their path using plastic riot shields.
As they jostle the crowd which contains at least one child, a rock is thrown towards one soldier's head narrowly sailing past it.
At one point a female migrant is seen being shunted back across the guardsmen and falling on top of other migrants who scream.

“How about everyone’s state in order to save everyone’s country?”
Did you not read to the end of my sentence?
Yes it is. My brother is retired from service in Border Patrol. He had many incidents of the rock throwing.
Trying to push them back with riot shields won’t work.
And the DOJ will crucify them if they shoot invaders.
I never saw pictures of THAT either. But nationwide it hasn’t escaped my attention that as bad as the economy gets, as much as communist “leaders” talk about defunding the police, most police agencies in larger cities seem to have brand spanking new cars every year. Pricey, shiny, well-maintained. But THAT, as they say, is a different conversation.
There’s nothing ambiguous about the last sentence. You set yourself up as an onlooker who thinks Texas should provide their sons as fodder to save the nation as the rest of the country offers no assistance.
