Why the Hovercraft's Time Might Have Finally Arrived

Hovercraft were a quick way to zip across the world's waterways but were noisy and expensive to operate. Could they be about to enjoy a second wind?

The 12.30pm midweek hovercraft departure from Portsmouth is already respectably half-full when we step on board. Marketed as the world's only year-round scheduled passenger hovercraft service, the Union Jack-emblazoned machine flies for a thrilling 10 minutes, hovering just inches above the water’s surface. It is the fastest way to reach Ryde on the Isle of Wight, a Detroit-sized island off the south coast of England. A rival vehicle, the FastCat ferry, takes more than twice as long, around 22 minutes. The hovercraft's engines roar (no louder than an airliner on take-off) as its beefy cushion inflates, lifting the vehicle gently five feet (1.6m) into the air. Then, it turns and slides seamlessly into the sea on its dash to Ryde. The 78-seater craft's unique ability to fly over sand and mud without damaging the fragile ecosystems underneath means that passengers may board even at low tide.

Hovertravel, which runs this service, is the sister company of Griffon Hoverwork, a British manufacturer that traces its roots back to Sir Christopher Cockerell's invention of the hovercraft in the 1950s.

(I could go on with the pattern of "and the Spirit of God" [ורוח אלהים] being naturally divided as 6 [ו] and + 300 [ש], as it is here: JerUSAlem [ירושלים], in which is the national personification name meaning "dove", the symbol for the soul and of the people of Israel, but I digress.)

But all the excitement seemed to fizzle out in the year 2000.

The first and last letters of the word for hovering, "mirachefet", spell the word "met", meaning "dead". Its three middle letters are the numerical value 288, alluding to the 288 "dead" or fallen sparks of divine light that descended in order to sustain the lower worlds.³
It is known that with the elevation and refinement of these 288 Sparks, the Messianic era will commence (Arizal).

Would you like the breakdown of how "the light" is the "ohr choser" along with Rachel in the verse? It's right there in the Hebrew where the the returning light ha-ohr is interwoven L to R with Rachel going R to L, on the place of the Spirit of God.

Ingenuity -- the Mars hovercraft analog, hovering over Jezero "lake" crater -- has performed 71 flights as of this writing.

As you can see from the Flight Log, there are two places where the to/from airfields stayed the same for the largest number of flights (4). They are the bookends:

Flights 1-4 at Wright Brothers Field
Flights 68-71 at airfield Chi (Χχ).

1 + 2 + 3 + 4 = 10
68 + 69 + 70 + 71 = 278

10 + 278 = 288

These "bookends" as of Flight 71 are 4 and 4, which like the "bookends" of merachefet, spell death.

At the same time, 4-4 is shishi [獅子], "lion". 44 = all of the Chanukah candles,

and a yo-yo [יו-יו], which when hovering, is sleeping, which is 1/60 of death:

As for the "Spirit of God" / Ruach Elohim [רוח אלהים], it is the one that appears first, hovering at the time of the First Light -- the "Ahas-Я-US" moment of epiphany, as it were (date of Flight 71: Jan 6).

The second place as per the Hebrew is that one I quoted, where Pharaoh describes Joseph. Pharaoh was impressed with Joseph's ability to extemporaneously rattle off the understanding and solutions. That particular Pharaoh was not only not offended by Joseph's 110% Can-Do spirit, he hired Joseph immediately based on merit and abilities. "DIE" er DEI was obviously not how he ran things.

Genesis 41:38 And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is[אשר רוח אלהים בו]?

Besides, the Torah states that Joseph had been put in charge of the prisoners, so he could detect a regime change just on that avenue of intel alone, say if the new arrivals shifted from being odious child predators to J6-ers who were guilty of being at the wrong place at the wrong time according to a sudden change in the definition of "wrong.".

And the way that [second] verse goes, the phrasing weaves in the detail about "the light" [האור] because the word in front of the Spirit of God is "asher", the relative pronoun introducing the clause (= which, that, who, whom).

Specifically, as the returning light (the "ohr chozer", the reflective light e.g. of the Moon) because the letter order is bounced back; i.e. reversed.

As long as I'm at it, here's the phrase, with the [reflected/reversed] light in blue, and "Яachel" going forward in red:

אשר רוח אלהים בו

That may look like abject nonsense (heh, if I desired a personality cult I sure am doing it wrong), but the folks I pinged would already know the background concepts inherent in that, especially as it weaves in Rachel who is Joseph's mother, aka the Mother of all Israel, and the symbolisms involving the Moon.

That reminds me of a funny story. A long while back in my travels, I had come upon a wiki page that provided examples of Hebrew portmanteaus, הֶלְחֵם בסיסים -- lit. a welding of bases, also shortened to הלחם. The sad AI translators can't keep up though, seeing "הלחם" (helchem) as ha-lechem, "the bread". But then again not wrong, depending on one's choice of diet.

Words merged with "ohr" were heavily represented, because the explanation was demonstrating how the alef א of "ohr" אור disappeared in the new words.

Well, one of these words is a traffic light, which is even the representative image on that page:

רמזור (רמז + אור)

That's "hint, suggestion" (remez) + "light" (ohr). It struck me as funny because since when are traffic lights "suggestions"? If anything on the roads demands strict adherence to traffic laws, it's a traffic light.

Red means stop. It's not just a hint. It's a commandment.

A person taking this concept to its logical conclusion would then see then that the "Ten Commandments" really are those "Ten Suggestions" that everyone jokes about. Or as in the case of Mel Brooks as a quick-thinking Moses, 15 - Oy! - 10, TEN! commandments for all to obey.

Crazy. Everyone knows the real story is that he broke all of them so that the guilty people of Israel would not be guilty of non-existent laws. Now *that's* Ingenuity, in-Jew-new-ID. Street cred. How to run red lights without being guilty of moving violations. Then it's back to driving school.

Then what? A bunch of crumbs to round up (no genuine Jew is going to be a litterbug, that would be wrong). The *Mosaic* Law in a nutshell.

Speaking of Joseph and interpretive revelation - I believe it is important to understand that the 'governor' of the prison that Joseph was sent to was Potiphar. Potiphar naturally married well into a noble family, but Potiphar knew his wife well. He could not afford to ignore her charge of sexual assault but he did not want to lose Joseph as an insightful asset.

So Potiphar did not send Joseph to a prison for slaves, he sent him to a prison for the upper class - where he made him an advisor from the start.

Of course the rest of the story is told in Genesis. Undoubtedly Potiphar gained status from Joseph being chosen by Pharaoh as his chief advisor. Joseph reveals that his being sold into bondage was intended for evil but God (haShem) turned it into good to serve His Perfect Will.

Which brings up the story of Joseph and his difficult reconciliation with his brothers. In rabbinical writing, Joseph is secreted behind a curtain as his brothers talk and come to the realization that all their misfortune has come upon them because of their evil deed of selling their brother into slavery and deceiving their father into believing that Joseph was dead.

Joseph is weeping and finally emerges and reveals himself to his brothers. The story also serves a prophetic purpose because it represents the reconciliation of Israel with their Messiach in the Great Tribulation; the veil is removed from their eyes - God's Perfect Will. 🤔

It's important to continue on the subject of Ingenuity and the Spirit of Elohim hovercraft [taking up residence within Joseph], because

I've wondered if Joseph's office had one of the greatest views in the whole land of Egypt, toward the Great Pyramid of "Kufu".

I'm simply basing that on how the world works. The people at the top get the quiet view from the top, the grand space and vista for inspiration, minus the usual distractions from down below.

Turns out it is the last surviving Wonder of the Ancient World, yet

to this day, nobody knows what that huge stack of stones is all about. Not who built it, or what its purpose was. And it's got all of those interesting chambers and passageways.

And literally to top it all off is the mystery of the missing capstone. As far as anyone can tell, it's always been missing, so what could that be all about?

One of the ideas floating around is that the Great Pyramid functioned as some sort of... power plant. Then the alien theories got a foothold and well

what continues to this very day is that all kinds of hypotheses and theories are... generated... to explain its building and use. No shortage of... ingenious ideas. It's a cottage industry.

Then the obvious sails right on by, that the Great Pyramid of "Kufu" is veritable ingenuity-generator that keeps on keeping on in real-time while no one has a clue that it is doing that. Clever!

As a matter of fact, one of the example sentences under the definition of ingenuity ("The ability to solve difficult problems in original, clever, and inventive ways.") is:

The pyramids demonstrate the ingenuity of the ancient Egyptians.

"Ancient Egyptians" looks more like a code for Jews, going by the real root and offspring of ingenuity:

A lot of people roll their eyes at the name being "Kufu", because those "in the know" insist that the can't-miss-cairn predates any pharaoh by thousands of years, and also that the scribbled interior hieroglyphics that identify "Kufu" as the builder pharaoh are of dubious origin. The whole account is sketchy.

So, what's in a name?

In the language of the place named for being the origin of the Sun [🔴],

ingenuity, device, scheme, laborer, worker:

The Pharaoh who knew to put Joseph in charge was also the one who knew just the right girl for him: Osnat, who hailed from On (versus Off) -- aka Heliopolis, "Sun City". I suspect that she was the kind of girl who flipped every switch merely by walking into a room. Even Buck Owens sang a song about a girl who came from the place named for being the origin of the Sun. The face... of analog time.

All of which goes together to make sense of the "strange" tradition that Osnat was actually a member of the tribe -- the daughter from Dina (medina) by way of Shechem. And from being the result of an illicit union, she had been "sold down the river" by Jacob for a good cause: to keep her safe from the wrath of Simeon and Levi who suffered not only from anger management issues, they lacked a rudimentary grasp of the sublime.
