"With the product cycles at Chrysler, I should have guessed," said Tom Gale jokingly, when asked whether he ever imagined that the Chrysler 300 would finally end production this month, almost 20 years after its February 2004 launch. He paused a moment, then continued. "You don't normally think something would go that long," he said quietly, "but it was really gratifying. And maybe it's just me being partial, but the car still looks good."

OMG! What will all the Gangsta wannabes drive now?................
Sadly Chrysler’s notorious problems with quality control and reliablity make anything they make suspect... I do agree, the car from a purely visual standpoint, still looks good.
Way better than say the EV Mustang...Jesus is that thing ugly... Its like a mustang had sex with a Pontiac Aztek in a drunken stupor one night, and it was the result.
Same thing they always did... Late Model Caddys.
Kind of like the passing of the Ford LTD. The end of an era — the big American sedan is gone.
It’s not a Chrysler. They are in the same bucket as Fiat. Another “premier” brand. Alfa. Jeep. The stellar “quality” many of us are familiar with.
Fix It Again Tony
All the hemi’s are being replaced by electric vehicles.
The new cars feature a loud speaker to make V-8 noises (I am not joking).
You can expect the next big thing will be drive-by shootings at charging stations.
hot car-
The Chrysler 300 was built on a Mercedes platform, back when the parent company was DaimlerChrysler.
Cadddys don’t have that panache the used to.
Lincolns either.
Now they want Lexus, Infiniti, Genesis, BMW and Mercedes..........
LOL
No joke, many months back a cop told me 90% of the Chrysler 300 owners had committed crimes.
I assume he was including driving violations.
He had to have meant 90% of the Chrysler 300s he pulled over.
I challenged him on it and he said again that it was true.
YMMV
My son-in-law is a car salesman.
He said he’s never sold a Chrysler 300 to a white person.............
😄😆🤣
That guy convinced me that it’s a cop magnet 🧲🧲🧲🧲 🤣
To me it looks like
the car from
“The Car”
It’s the poor man’s Rolls. Looks very similar.........................
my grandmother had a huge old land yacht caddie- loved riding in that car- it was like sitting on a really soft sofa lol- my cousin ended up with it somehow- - my grandmother would make us laugh by peeling out onto the main road sometimes- good times-
“The new cars feature a loud speaker to make V-8 noises”
Our across-the-street neighbor has driven Teslas from their very first roadster sports car. I STILL cannot get used to the Martian Flying Saucer sound it makes when he backs out of the driveway. It would be far better if it made that nice burbly, growly sound you get with a cross-plane crankshaft V8.
middle of this model run back six to ten years ago I rented 300s a number of times — not a bad ride when taking old folks around town — easy entry etc.
now that I am even more in that olds folks era myself, I see the back seats of SUVs are impossible to enter.
Pardon me, do you have any Grey Poupon?
(oh no...)
You're right. QC has been an issue with Chrysler since the late 1950s. I bought a 300 anyway for its quiet ride and general performance. Figured I take a chance. So far (30,000 miles) so good. Keeping my fingers crossed.
