"Black Dog" & "Immigrant Song"
"Stairway" may be way overplayed, but it's still a masterpiece .....

Nah it was not "Stairway to Heaven". it was "Rock n' Roll".. "Stairway" was a masterpiece, an artistic creation of gorgeous complexity and perfectly produced sonic grandeur.
"Rock 'n Roll" was simply the greatest straight-ahead hard rock song ever. And it was a jam.
They're both "best", along with a number of others.

Ten Years Gone is my favorite. The music and the lyrics and meaning behind the lyrics are top notch.

The song they put as #5 (since I’ve been loving you) is the one I always skip past on the album. Everyone has different taste
The organ intro for “your time is gonna come” is fantastic
I guess this band “ripped off” a lot from others but I just don’t care, rather listen to them than most anyone else.
(Check out “Small faces” which led zeppelin is known to have attended shows before they started)
I never understood how The Who were also a big band.
Always felt like Led Zep music was 1000 times better
To: DallasBiff
The mere fact that have 50 great songs is a testament to greatness Led Zeppelin.

No way they had 50 good songs. No one does. Maybe 10.

Ten Years Gone (Physical Graffiti, 1975) Image Zeppelin’s creativity was at an all-time high during the Physical Graffiti sessions. Even now, Ten Years Gone is still spellbinding. Our astronaut alchemists nearing the end of their quest, heroin-soaked, cocaine-addled. Lost in the desert, wheels spinning in the sand. The struggle is beating them down, you can hear the weariness in the voice and beats, the end is near. It is prophetic, as the band arguably struggled to scale these heady heights again. Not sure what the author was writing about here. This description makes no sense. Serious drug use suspected by the author.

This is too much of a stretch. Maybe 10 best songs, but after that who’s counting?

How can you miss ‘Dazed and Confused’? Probably for the same reason I forgot ‘Song Remains the Same’: I forgot, LOL.
