Agree..great guitarist.
Great guitarist.
I was one of those that thought most of these hard living rockers would have dropped dead long ago. Some of them do die young, but an awful lot of them are now hitting their eighties not only alive, but kicking.
Keith Richards is going to outlive them all.
He wrote “The Rain Song” so...
Or Ron Wood, he looks must better than Keith, and he did all the bad stuff Keith did.
Say what? What's that about?
Jimmy Page and Ozzy Osbourne, were both followers of Alistier Crowley, not officially a devil worshipper, but?
Didn’t quite expect him to age gracefully, yet there he is. Quite a miracle that he even survived the 70’s.
After a show, 30 or so years ago, Jimmy drank me and my buddies under the table. He is actually quite unassuming.
More than anything, he just wanted to be a regular guy.
I saw Queen with Adam Lambert last October? Fall in any case. He’s still “got it” as a guitarist as well, in his 80s I’m sure.
Houses of the Holy
A real ripper...
“Let me take you to the movies
Can I take you to the show
Let me be yours ever truly
Can I make your garden grow
From the houses of the holy, we can watch the white doves go
From the door comes satan’s daughter, and it only goes to show, you know
There’s an angel on my shoulder, in my hand a sword of gold
Let me wander in your garden and the seeds of love I’ll sow you know
So the world is spinning faster are you dizzy when you’re stoned
Let the music be your master will you heed the master’s call
Oh Satan and man
Said there ain’t no use in crying ‘cause it will only, only drive you mad
Does it hurt to hear them lying?
Was this the only world you had? oh oh
So let me take you, take you to the movie
Can I take you, baby, to the show
Why don’t you let me be yours ever truly
Can I make your garden grow, you know”
For the soundtrack music for Death Wish II (some tracks re-used on Death Wish III):
Director Michael Winner:
“ He saw the film, we spotted where the music was to go, and then he said to me “I’m going to my studio. I don’t want you anywhere near me, I’m going to do it all on my own.” My editing staff said this is bloody dangerous! Anyway, we gave him the film, we gave him the timings, and he did it all on his own. Everything hit the button totally! I’ve never seen a more professional score in my life.”
You talking about Brian May?
Yes, meant to mention Brian May in there. Clearly Adam Lambert isn’t in his 80s.
Try this one Come With Me (Rain Song) -by Fever Tree released March 1968.

I thought Crowley was more of a sex and drugs cult guru not devil worship.
