Social media users tore into Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson after he complained about Gov. Greg Abbott flying illegal immigrants into his city without warning him.
Johnson took to the X platform on Sunday to lament the fact that a plane from San Antonio had brought in hundreds of U.S. Southern Border crossers without his knowledge.
The mayor's posts were met with conservative users mocking him for not being more welcoming, as the city’s government has proclaimed Chicago to be a "sanctuary city."
The mayor wrote, "This morning just after 1 a.m., a private Boeing 777 originating from San Antonio, Texas landed at the Rockford/Chicago airport carrying 350 asylum seekers. There was no communication from Texas, and the City of Chicago was alerted by authorities in Rockford regarding the flight."
In a subsequent post, he added, "Upon landing, asylum seekers were placed on buses chartered by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and dropped in various surrounding suburbs, left to find their way to the city. This is the second recorded instance of the Texas governor transporting asylum seekers via private plane."
The posts did not seem to generate much sympathy on the Chicago government’s behalf. Multiple users told Johnson to complain about the Democratic Party and President Biden’s border policies rather than Texas and other border states, which saw the highest monthly number of illegal southern border crossings in history.
Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, replied to Johnson, writing, "You need @JoeBiden’s phone number? I am sure one of your Democrat U.S. Senators or Congress-critters has it."
Political strategist Logan Dobson ripped the mayor, writing, "You received exactly as much communication and warning of their arrival as Texas did. If you have a problem, take it up with the federal government, headed by the president of your party."

They can’t take it up with Joe because look what happened to Eric Adams, Mayor of New York city: He complains about Joe opening the border ONCE and Joe sent his SS - the FBI - to kick down the door of Adams fundraiser and raid her apartment.
And they call Trump a threat to democracy? This Biden is a flat out 3rd world dictator, he’s a crook, and Republicans better get their ass in gear because you damn well know Biden will steal this election once again
Send them back to Mexico. Its cheaper and quicker. They all came through there and were allowed to do so.
Turn them right back around and send them back there. One they have a gut full, maybe they will secure their southern border.
The Republicans are hopelessly stuck on stupid. They’re completely blinded by the normalcy bias, apparently believing that nothing occurring is beyond ordinary politics. The reality is that we couldn’t be in worse shape if the ChiComs themselves had conquered us and were now in control. In a sense, that’s exactly what has happened, only they’ve used their puppet Biden to do it.
Any Republicans who are capable of waking from their delusion need to realize immediately that we are far beyond a 1776 level of tyranny, and come to terms with whet they means as far as a commensurate response. More talking isn’t going to stop people who are so evil and treasonous that they would intentionally engineer a massive invasion of their own country, and take numerous measures, such as dispersing them throughout the country in the dead of night, to hide what they’re doing. The idiots in Congress have got to immediately stop with the “our colleagues across the aisle” nonsense and get it through their thick heads that those on the other side are literal enemies of America who are actively trying to destroy the country. If the Russians or Chinese invaded and tried to do this we all know what the response would be. It should be no different in this case.
Recommendation is to formulate plan B and utilize should the rapture fail to occur

Johnson’s ridiculous insults of Abbot makes him look small and stupid. Abbot is obviously not the problem. He invokes the Streisand Effect and makes Biden look worse.

The Mayor’s whining about migrants entering his city completely ignores the fact that he
governs a “sanctuary city” where municipal laws protect these newly arrived non-citizens.
Chicago has been a welcoming sanctuary city since 1985, when an order from the tolerant and compassionate Democrat Mayor’s office prohibited local officials from withholding city services, investigating or prosecuting people solely based on their immigration status.
The mayor Johnsons of the world are far too ignorant to connect the dots between Biden’s non-horder and the immigrants.
Johnson’s whining about Texas was getting tiresome....so some Chicagoans
told him to complain to Biden about his border policies and leave Texas alone.
But complaining to Biden does have its disadvantages. Biden could get irked at Johnson.....
maybe even label him “disloyal,” maybe even dump him in w/ the J6 political prisoners.

Chicongo’s “Willie” Johnson sure is a big crybaby. These poor “sanctuary-seekers” are walking all the way up to the Rio Grande from all over the planet while being hounded for bleeding heart photo ops by the far-left “media” when all they want is a clean diaper for their kids, a burrito and a drink of water and here’s the uppity liberal king, “willie Johnson denying it to them.
There is NOTHING good about any of this. We are a nation that’s lost its way and is self destructing. Sad.
