I’m watching “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”. It has its moments. It’s a Tarantino movie and is pretty good although I need to save the version that cuts out the incessant dirty language.
Also don’t forget the original 60’s “Ocean’s Eleven” with it’s four new-years-Eve celebrations.

Intro to Ghostbusters “shock therapy”. Classic Bill Murray excellence. I will just watch the beginning and then stop the movie.
The ending of The Godfather Part One. I find the switch back and forth between the church baptism and the killings and the contrast to be quite well done.
The whole Godfather movie is great but it reaches an unholy climax towards the end.

Michael Corleone : That’s the way Pop wanted it.
Fredo Corleone : It ain’t the way I wanted it! I can handle things! I’m smart! Not like everybody says... like dumb... I’m smart and I want respect!

I can’t believe PIX11 in NY didn’t begin the Honeymooners marathon until midnight.

I moved out of WPIX's range almost three decades ago. Do they still do the Yule Log?
I remember when they went by the call "11 Alive", and they were allowed to simulcast the baseball playoffs and World Series with NBC and ABC with their own announcers. Then they were forced to use the inferior network feed, and now they are locked out altogether.
It was also the only station on which I could see "A Day with Doodles" (Doodles Weaver)

Yee Ha! I get to use a favorite line:
“A day late and a dollar short.”
I watched People Will Talk with Cary Grant and had great delight listening to his rant about medicine and doctors. I was surprised YT allowed it.

“The Poseidon Adventure“
That is a great romp! Haven't seen it in years. Dad took us girls to see it at a REAL theater and everything! I was 12; it was a real treat because we didn't go to the movies very often.
Thanks for the reminder to watch it again in the near future.

I can’t watch The Poseidon Adventure anymore, because every time I see Leslie Neilsen in a serious role, I still crack up.

My Dad took all of us to see it in the theater, too. I loved it. Gene Hackman stole the show.
I also loved Mad Magazine‘s take.
