If Georgia was in the final 4 without winning their conference, who would you have left out? Alabama who beat them in head to head? Or some other team?
These bowl games are about as legit as those NFL Replacement games. It’s ridiculous.
Thankfully, the expanded playoffs are putting this crap to an end.

No, it just means that players that are thinking about their future and their own NFL prospects are making the right decision by not playing in a meaningless bowl game.

All these college bowl games have become basically a money maker for the participants but a bust for fans because of the HUGE number of player who are not playing.
Kinda like the Pro Bowl. Nobody’s showing up.
And the way these scoundrel networks promote these games. The more they promote, the less interested I am.
College football is fake and gay. Just a junior NFL without the school spirit, loyalty, or commitment to amateur sports.
Most of my male friends no longer pay attention to it, and it’s nothing but a waste of time and energy.
When I watch college football, it looks like a bunch of rug rats in a playpen.
I haven’t watched a NFL game in several years. Once they went “woke”, I lost all interest. However,at this point I still enjoy some college football. I don’t know how long that will last though. I think Georgia should have been in the play-offs, but I’m a bit biased given that I am a Georgia girl.
I would rather watch the FCS Playoffs.

GA got screwed. They should be playing Michigan.

If Georgia wanted to play Michigan, they should have opted to beat Alabama.
Texas probably. They beat Bama early and got trounced by OKLA.
BS. We needed a playoff system at the top level, just like they have at the other levels in the NCAA. We should have a system to determine the true champion, not some vote by the media and coaches. Decide it on the field.
Look how March Madness has made the NCAA basketball playoffs one of the most watched sporting events in the country.
The 12 team playoff system next year should reduce the number of future NFL prospects opting out of the bowl games. The transfer portal system should not begin until after the playoffs.
The Buckeyes have to find a QB for next season. Don’t think Brown will cut it. Maybe get Will Howard through the portal.
Every Buckeye fan I know is truly embarrassed about that ridiculous performance. Heads are gonna roll, especially on offense. Look for there to be new offensive coaches next season. Might not help, but sure can’t hurt.

Indeed. College teams have become NFL farm teams.
If I were in charge, there would be no football games before the autumnal equinox or after New Years Day, no weekday games, no instant replays, no TV time outs, and no kickoffs after 7:00 pm.
