“...as a part of the state’s voter-mandated reintroduction plan...”
Yeah, the democrat filth in Ft. Collins, Boulder and Denver thought it a sterling idea to sic these beasts on the rest of the state.
the ranchers will be wondering: ‘Is that a Wyoming wolf or a Colorado wolf that killed my livestock?’
Yeah...I doubt they will care overly much.
Besides the CO ones will most likely be tagged.
Try to catch and cage them. Then drive them to the downtown lib area of town. Let them out and see if they chew on a lib or two. As the dems say, never let a crisis go to waste. Waste them.
What if.... postulations with coffee in hand whilst waiting for the break of dawn.
Wolves are interesting animals to observe, I’ve been reading and watching videos on this for a while now and they are a very structured pack animal. The lead wolf is usually in the rear of a column on a single track overlooking his pack. They don’t eat carrion, they have a family structure that is maintained for years. They have a hierarchy, they hunt in packs, and in areas where wolves have been reintroduced the landscape has changed back to the original natural state. It has been noted with elk populations under control by wolves that rivers and marshes have returned back to their natural state... as vegetation is restored and erosion scrub subsides these areas are returning to a balanced state, providing habitat for many species of birds, fish, and mammals.
It’s interesting, but they are predatory and they do kill livestock.
There are areas in this country where wolves could be reintroduced and have a very positive effect, especially in the reduction of feral pig populations. But then the Wolves would probably become fat and lazy devouring these juicy balls of meat.
They are protected in MN, and a major problem. Folks up there have adopted a fairly effective SSS program.
Nonsense. You guys won’t even fix your Cheney problem.
I’m an animal lover but on the otherhand..........Ruger Mini 14 saves the day.
I would bet the feds put trackers on the wolves. If it was me, I’d shoot the predator and drive the carcass 100 miles a away for disposal. An Indian reservation would be an ideal destination.
Huh? All of those borders are that close to one another?
Shot Shovel Shut Up
There is a good reason that the wolf population in settled country has been wiped out. There is a reason wolves have a bad reputation. They are ruthless survivors at any price. To think otherwise is just plain stupid.
"The CPW released the first wolf pack a minimum of 60 miles away from the state border of Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico and the sovereign tribal lands in southwestern Colorado."
Shoot the wolves for killing sheep or the sheep and cattle they will kill then the author of the article for being stupid.
We have learned many lessons over the decades. Some lessons have not been learned. Some things SHOULD be shot on sight. That lesson should be learned and remembered.
Problem is that they probably have tracking chips implanted now, but a metal, detector should find it easily enough. Remove the chip and feed to a migrating bird lol
Democrat war on human existence. No peaceful coexistence please.
Fire away!
