The Soviets liberated Auschwitz.
And she would know because.....? Crackpots make the news, and the UK news is very oriented to crackpots.
Who knows? Maybe the Soviets did recreate the liberation. But this is a damn poor time to bring it up. This will just give the Holocaust deniers more ammunition.

The video was short, so I watched it.
What I got out of the video was that she was there in Auschwitz when it was liberated by the Soviets. At that time, there was snow on the ground (at least one foot).
Later, the Soviets realized that they should have taken pictures, so they did what was basically a recreation of what happened using actors. There was no snow.
The liberation did happen (she was there), but the pictures were done later.
Flag raising at Iwo Jima was recreated for the cameras.
Internet archive has some pretty horrific footage of the camp liberations.
Take my word for it, please.

I visited Buchenwald in 1977. The Soviet staff showed us a film showing only Soviets liberating the camp. According to history, the US liberated Buchenwald.
If they falsified history for one camp, it’s no surprise they did it for another.
Mrs. Schloss is probably right about those particular images being staged.
However, there are plenty of other contemporary images that show snow on the ground at the time of the liberation.
Of course, if you want to know how the Soviets did their Propaganda back then, just watch this...

I had read about that many years ago. An Auschwitz survivor had said much the same thing.
But the fact remains that it was the Soviets who liberated Auschwitz (mainly because Auschwitz was in Poland, and was thus in the Soviets’ sector of the assault on Germany). Just as it is fact that it was the Brits who liberated Belsen and it was the Americans who liberated Dachau.
