Tucker is being straightforward about it; while he won’t be Trump’s next VP, it’s evident he’ll still play a significant role in the 2024 matchup. And as you likely know, he’s fully endorsed President Trump. However, there’s a major reason he wouldn’t vote for Trump, and he’s already sending out warning signals. Tucker wants to ensure Trump is fully aware of the potential consequences of choosing the wrong VP.

The reason is simple: Nikki Haley is a younger version of Hillary Clinton. She’s seen as a warmonger, a globalist, and someone who consistently yields to the left at every opportunity. In fact, it was Governor Nikki Haley who initiated the “tear down statues and monuments” movement on the left by folding like a cheap suit and removing the Confederate flag from the South Carolina Capitol. Nikki would be a disaster as Vice President and would work feverishly against President Trump.

Well, thats a strange way to show support for Trump, by saying why he would NOT vote for him. I guess I get what you are saying, but the optics can and will be twisted by the opposition.
Haley on the ticket would kill it. We aren’t that dumb.
This all started when Lara Trump ran around saying she would like Nikki Haley our something like that.
Either way, Nikki Haley is an unacceptable nominee.
I say NO to Darling Nikki.
I don't agree with that premise.
Haley, between her statements and record is obvious
Pence, Hutchison, and Christie--all clowns, and its transparent what they were about
Burgum--not even sure why he was there. Might as well have legally changed his name to Pat Paulsen
All of the above, imho, have not demonstrated ANY interest in addressing the concerns of the voters. In the Christie's case, even castigating those voters who disagreed. They have done it to themselves.
That leaves three.
Ramaswamy talks the talk, and is even showing some balls. But in light of where we are right now, he "ain't the guy" . In fact, he would probably suffer the same sabotage Trump encountered from 2016-2020.
That leaves two. And Desantis has been talked/promoted to death on this forum. I've expressed before concerns about with whom he was associating. I'll be charitable and say he listened too much to Roe and Pushaw, and by extension Rove/Bush. Those same are now jumping ship. Some friends they are. He may have even damaged his political future. At least Cruz has recivered somewhat from the 2016 campaign.
So, to me, that leaves one.
“Trump would never pick Haley as VP...”
~~~
If it was anyone else but Trump, I would suggest you could be very wrong.
There is going to be a LOT of pressure from the RNC to pick Haley because she ticks at least one checkbox, and they will be harping on him that it will help get votes from a big voting demographic.
I’m pretty sure almost anyone else but Trump would cave.
DJT knows he’ll have to pick someone with the same drive and determination as himself.
If he picks a lightweight, the Deep State will be emboldened to eliminate him, to get to someone that they can control.
It is that fact alone that would forbid me from ever voting for Nimrata.
SC will not support Nikki as President or Vice President.
If they supported Obama, they’ll support Nikki.
“There is going to be a LOT of pressure from the RNC to pick Haley because she ticks at least one checkbox”
Yea, stab Trump in the back, which is why RNC will push for Nikki. Nikki is another Paul Ryan, Mike Pense, Bill Barr, and James Mattis.
Nikki as Vice President would be a repeat of Trumps first term.
The serious, final choices for Donald Trumps’ VP should be narrowed down to two people: Lee Zeldin of New York and Harmeet Dhillon of California. Both are pro-MAGA candidates who tried to become the next RNC Chairperson, and both were rejected. They would of changed the entire GOP to become a much better political party, at each and every level. The office of VP would end up becoming a step down, politically, for the majority of people who are in political office/presently running for political office, so this would narrow down the actual possibilities quite a bit. The political standing and overall attention of Lee Zeldin or Harmeet Dhillon would improve instantly, if either one suddenly became the final VP pick. Either one will succeed in increasing the support and the votes needed for Donald Trump, just like they were planning to do to increase the support and the votes needed to improve the results of the entire GOP, at each and every political level. The person not chosen to be VP would end up helping Donald Trump in other ways during the campaign and, possibly, from within a Trump administration. This makes sense, and it would be a missed opportunity for Donald Trump, if he ends up doing something else.
Aliens!
Jumped the shark for me with the Andrew Tate interview. Yuck!
The current betting odds although early not consequential-
are dominated by women-
Noem is the 8/1 fav
Vivek is the only male in top 5
and Sanders who may be the best selection not only for VP but successor is not one the favs.
The odds may be meaningless but the trend is clear.
All those unMAGAlike we need a man and not the best regardless better start getting creative.
Zeldin is 250/1
Dhillon is so long, he is not listed.
The reality is the VP is the most likely heir to the MAGA thrown and is not a step down for any of them.
Sources all over the place are saying this as though it is real. It isn’t.
He won’t pick the bird brain.
I would not be as exercised to vote, maybe not get to the polls in time if Trump picked Nikki. Picking Nikki could be very dangerous to his well being.
