Broadway musicians say they are being preyed upon by violent criminals at the stage door of the beloved “The Lion King” musical and other shows.
Video obtained by The Post shows the moment a violinist with the Disney production was suddenly shoved to the ground in the breezeway of the Minkskoff Theater after exiting an Aug. 5 matinee via the stage door, breaking her wrist in 10 places and nearly ending her decades-long career.

NYC used to be such a vibrant, fun, dynamic place to visit. I saw “The Lion King” there in the summer of 2001. We went to a night performance and it was playing at the New Amsterdam Theater then. Musicians weren’t being mugged at stage doors then to our knowledge.
We maintained big-city situational awareness whenever we visited, but it wasn’t the crazy, evil hellhole it is now. Rudy was mayor then and it was a more civilized place.
So? These are the same extreme left-wing liberals that mock republicans and conservatives when they attend one of their shows.

In the old days, NYPD would have sent Jim Cirillo’s Squad out there as decoys and killed a couple of them. In five years, he was in 17 shootouts and officially killed 11.

As an outside guess: Not Guiliani. It's really a damn shame. I grew up in New York, never an easy place to live, expensive, crowded, but there was so much available not available elsewhere. Now it's a $hithole, getting worse every day, and all because of idiotic white guilt. I hate what's happening to America.
