I add sour cream to a can of mandarin oranges...does the trick..want to one up that...add a couple teaspoons of Instant Vanilla pudding.

We make ours with frozen OJ, mandarins, coconut, pecans, and mini marshmallows. Cherries are optional.

My wife loves ambrosia. If we buy some at the grocery store deli, we have to get two half-pound containers rather than one pound container, because she’d eat the larger amount at one go. I can stand the stuff, but I’m not wild about it.
