Noah James was not supposed to draw a breath for another 13 weeks yet here he is...perfectly formed...just very very tiny. He was born 13 weeks early on December 6, 2023 and is on life support. He has been meeting his weight gain goals of 20-30 Grams per day and his little body is making new cells by the millions as he continues to form into a more fully defined human miracle baby boy. Mom and Dad are both grateful/faithful for the continued good news from the doctors and they very much appreciate your keeping little Noah James in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you so much.

An update on Noah...

Noah is now 7 weeks since birth and as you may recall, he was 13 weeks premature, so that makes his cellular development equal to that of an infant that still has 6 more weeks of gestation development to go. All things considered, he is doing well. I am posting this to 1: Thank you all for your continued faith and prayers for the health of little Noah James. 2: To share some news in that Noah will be undergoing a somewhat common heart surgery tomorrow (1/23)...a procedure that is called Ventricular Septum Repair. Its basically to patch a hole that is inside the heart...I believe. Noah's mom has asked that "just say a few extra prayers tonight that his surgery goes well tomorrow…" Would be very appreciated. Update on little Noah James....
All good news. Praise the Lord! Recap...Noah was born 13 weeks premature (see first pics in this thread)...is now eight weeks since birth which is five weeks short from where he would be if he was born for a normal term pregnancy. The strength and character of his Mom and Dad through all this is...its just amazing how people maintain composure I think. Anyway...lotta prayers going on for sure! You may recall that Noah had heart surgery a couple of weeks ago for Ventricular Septum Repair (common for these little guys) and he is recovering from that very well and prognosis is good! The big headline is that Noah took his first sip of milk today! He is almost Four Pounds now. He will transition out of his incubator and to an open crib when he makes four pounds. Again...thank you to all for your thoughts and prayers. Stay tuned for more as he progresses. Blessings All!
