That’s a great and important message.
Modern society borrows the standards set by Christ ignoring their author, ignoring their purpose in Him, ignoring Him. Without him they are hollow standards.
In the interest of fair disclosure, every word posted by Mocker DiPippo is an intentional lie, including but not limited to:
That is the Russian way of information warfare.
“Linking YouTube channels is no different than linking articles.”
There is a huge difference between daily postings of the same links and a one-time article. This YouTube pimping has been ongoing for almost 2 years now.
And thus do some of our anti-Ukers pull the curtain back on their own pro-Soviet training.
In fact, the word "propaganda" in American usage always implies lies & distortions for political purposes.
There is no "good" or "neutral" sense of the word "propaganda" as Americans use it.
There is, of course, in other languages and more scholarly discourse, where "propaganda" can mean simply a government's sales pitch or "messaging" on any topic.
The most notable example of this is the Old Soviet Communist "Ministry for Agitation and Propaganda" -- hence, "agit-prop".
Today in Russia "agitation" and "propaganda" are responsibilities of Roskomnadzor -- the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media -- as part of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation (MinTsifry Rossii), as such, components of information warfare waged against Russia's enemies on media forums worldwide, including possibly even here.
I think Russian propaganda can be distinguished by crude messages sometimes delivered in slick "meme" packages, similar to those we see here from our mocker and cheerful.
Thank you. I loved it the first time and love it more now.
So true.
Modern society borrows the standards set by Christ ignoring their author, ignoring their purpose in Him, ignoring Him. Without him they are hollow standards.
I wanted to share these words the Bishop shared at my ordination so long ago! I deeply value them and wanted to share this profoundly focused inspirational reflection this focus with my Freeper friends:
I believe in justice: but I am not a preacher of the gospel of justice, but the Gospel of Christ who calls us to justice.
I believe in love: but I am not a preacher of the gospel of love, but the Gospel of Christ who calls us to love
I am committed to peace: but I am not a preacher of the gospel of peace, but of the Gospel of Christ who calls us to peace.
I believe in the value of the simple life: but I am not a preacher of the simple life, but of the Gospel of Christ who calls us to the simple life.
Let us beware of the ULTIMATE plagiarism of borrowing some great concepts from Jesus, then running off proclaiming these concepts and not sharing the Christ that empowers these concepts.

Oh look! Every did it. Everyone's doing it....
"2 : the spreading of ideas, information, or rumor for the purpose of helping or injuring an institution, a cause, or a personEveryone does it. Everyone is doing it. Everyone will do it in the future... Propaganda.
3 : ideas, facts, or allegations spread deliberately to further one's cause or to damage an opposing cause""information, ideas, opinions, or images, often only giving one part of an argument, that are broadcast, published, or in some other way spread with the intention of influencing people's opinions"
"Propaganda, dissemination of information—facts, arguments, rumours, half-truths, or lies—to influence public opinion. It is often conveyed through mass media. Propaganda is the more or less systematic effort to manipulate other people's beliefs, attitudes, or actions by means of symbols (words, gestures, banners, monuments, music, clothing, insignia, hairstyles, designs on coins and postage stamps, and so forth)."
"Propaganda is communication that is primarily used to influence or persuade an audience to further an agenda, which may not be objective and may be selectively presenting facts to encourage a particular synthesis or perception, or using loaded language to produce an emotional rather than a rational response to the information that is being presented."
"Britain re-created the World War I Ministry of Information for the duration of World War II to generate propaganda to influence the population towards support for the war effort. A wide range of media was employed aimed at local and overseas audiences."

"It is noteworthy that social media publication policies are guided from Kyiv, ensuring that messages revolve around key themes—bravery, resilience, and defiance—and are consistent and aligned with overarching goals. Other than that, Ukrainian content creators hardly face any restrictions, unlike their Soviet predecessors, who operated under harsh guidelines from Moscow. Humorous content and interaction with animals, particularly cats and dogs, are recurring themes in videos of Ukrainian military personnel on social media. Additionally, blatant failures and alleged crimes of Russian armed forces are frequently emphasized."

If the spelling of the name is correct:Please note that these links relate directly to and a germane to the sourced quotes above."... an American Mennonite pastor, professor, theologian, and author. He is the former president of both Eastern Mennonite College (now known as Eastern Mennonite University) and the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities."
"...the fifth president of what was then Eastern Mennonite College & Seminary, serving from 1965 to 1980. He was also professor of theology from 1963 to 1980.
Myron Augsburger - Faculty/Staff Directory
"Sept. 21 marks the official end of the 'deliberative and consultative process' in the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities that began in July, after two CCCU member schools — Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Va., and Goshen (Ind.) College — changed their nondiscrimination policies to allow the hiring of gay and lesbian faculty. After hearing from its 120 presidents, CCCU plans to hold a special conference call next Monday to determine its course of action."
And specifically, he is quoted as saying, 'Christian colleges should act in society as agents of social justice. The Christian liberal arts college does not combat racism, sexism, materialism and violence by the singular message of the gospel alone, but by the breadth of cultural values of equity, love and justice as they are enriched by Christian dialogue'."
