Israel has designated a safe zone in southern Gaza, but its widening air and ground offensive has left Palestinians packed together in dire humanitarian conditions.
United Nations monitors said Thursday that a hospital in the southern town of Khan Younis received its first delivery of supplies since Nov. 29. Aid groups are severely limited by fighting and restrictions placed by the military. The United Nations estimates 1.9 million people have been displaced and new military evacuation orders are squeezing people into ever-smaller areas. Most lack food, water and medicine.
Around 1,200 people have died on the Israeli side, mainly civilians killed during Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack that triggered the war. The Health Ministry in Hamas-run Gaza said the death toll in the territory has surpassed 17,100, with more than 46,000 wounded. The ministry does not differentiate between civilian and combatant deaths, but said 70% of the dead were women and children.

AP is depending on that superior news source, Hamas. Btw, if they really were interested in the truth, it is easy enough to find out that Hamas has stolen every gallon of gas, every slice of pita, every ounce of food and medicine, etc. And the numbers are grossly exaggerated from Hamas, but apparently, AP believes that Israel has not suffered ONE casualty since October 7th. LIARS!
Oh, how sad.
One of this world have happened if Hamas hadn’t attacked Israel, gruesomely murdered 1,400 people, kidnapped 250 others, launched some 10,000 rockets at mostly civilian targets in Israel and otherwise waged war on Israel. This is ALL on Hamasand the large majority of Gazans who not merely supported it, but danced in glee over the genocidal attack of October 7. That is not just basic morality, that is international law for well over 100 years. Hamas FA, now they’re FO…and the Ass Press can go F themselves for trying to drum up sympathy for a bunch of genocidal savages who have plainly stated that they would repeal this attack or worse, if given the chance.

There is an erroneous assumption present in the world news based on history. Palestinians will resume normal life.
There is no Palestine. Palestine is as it was is gone forever and will never be the same. How the transition is made will be determined over the next five or so years.
The determination of the future will be made by Israel, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UAE and the USA.
