quoting: "When Mocker lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies."

Worldtraveler once upon a time: "What a bloody stupid comment after a lengthy tome, especially given BroJoeK's earlier quote: 'The source for my opinions is me, BroJoeK.' "

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm..................

Worldtraveler once upon a time: "Theologically, the "father of lies" is Satan in a variety of denominations.
The only folks using this kind of verbiage are those Muslims who decry the US and Israel as "shaitan," great and small.
And you, who use it incorrectly."

Hmmmmmmmmmm......... it's most curious that in my very lengthy post, those are the words which aroused the strongest response from you, FRiend.

I think you are correct to be concerned about those words.

Everything I see tells me those words are true, but I will invite UMCRevMom@aol.com to weigh in -- am I being too unfair towards Mocker DiPippo?

“What we care about is propaganda meaning lies or distortions weaponized for political purposes.”

“Am I being too unfair towards Mocker DiPippo?”

FIRST, You have correctly identified the problem.

Despite ANKE69 calling me a rural Ukraine expert [nicest possible translation from German], I have never professed to be. I cite references source information so others can read or hear relevant information for themselves not just “my opinion.”

Of course, others have chosen to mock and insult me as well. But, I make myself a target as it is known I will not respond to defend myself or criticize others in kind.

For me, to respond to “distractors” and “detractors” would give undo weight to their comments away from discussing the post topic.

2ND, Regarding, the phrase became popular among Ukrainians during the Ukrainian War of Independence from 1917 to 1921. From the 1930s Slava Ukraine was used by different Ukrainian groups, as well as Ukrainian diaspora groups and refugee communities during the Cold War. Of course in the Soviet Union the phrase was forbidden and later other Russian authorities.

The phrase eventually resurfaced in Ukraine during the country’s struggle for independence in connection with the fall of the Soviet Union as similar to our “God Bless America” as God has shared his Glory upon Ukraine.

I do understand the issue for others not appreciating Slava Ukraine. To be respectful, I determined not use this phrase.

3rd, I have resolved to respectfully give informative comments that relate to status of: the Governments of Russia & Ukraine; the current state of the invasion by Russia; as well as supportive nations for Ukraine as well as Russia;

Everyone, have a GREAT day! :)
