Theologically, the "father of lies" is Satan in a variety of denominations. The only folks using this kind of verbiage are those Muslims who decry the US and Israel as "shaitan," great and small. And you, who use it incorrectly.

Hmmmmmmmmmm......... it's most curious that in my very lengthy post, those are the words which aroused the strongest response from you, FRiend.

I think you are correct to be concerned about those words.

Everything I see tells me those words are true, but I will invite UMCRevMom@aol.com to weigh in -- am I being too unfair towards Mocker DiPippo?
