A city in Belgium has cancelled a scheduled Christmas event in which a black female ‘Santa Claus’ was set to reeducate attendees about “colonial ideology” and how “generations of Flemish people are racists.”
The Telegraph reports that people in Ghent have pressured the mayor to call off the appearance of one Queen Nikkolah, a character created by artist Laura Nsengiyumva, who would have ‘reworked’ Christmas fables about Santa for children at the event.
The report claims that the character was set to be dressed in the colours of the Palestinian flag (for some reason) while handing out gifts to children.
Ahead of the event which was scheduled for Wednesday, Queen Nikkolah announced “I dream of a Belgium liberated from colonial ideology and a society without discrimination.”
Conservatives in Belgium labelled the event “woker than woke,” with Nadia Sminate, a vice-chairman of the Flemish parliament, warning that “Queen Nikkolah’s initiative is actually saying that entire generations of Flemish people are racists.”
“There is nothing wrong with Sinterklaas, as we know him,” said Mathias de Clercq member of the Flemish liberal party, adding “We shouldn’t try to turn him into something else.”

Sure, if I can have a white MLK
No kidding.
This hasn’t even happened here yet, as far as I know. “Woker than woke is right.”
It seems like woketards get offended if a normal white person eats a taco or plays a blues tune, but when they want to appropriate the legend of an historically white character it’s just fine. Empowering even. There is no black Santa Clause. Stop it.
.
“Sure, if I can have a white MLK”
My dream is to bring a remake of “Thelma and Louise” to the big screen.
Except it would be ‘reimagined’ as “Martin and Malcolm”.
For the sake of diversity, right?
MLK and Malcolm X would be portrayed in the lead roles on a raucous, fun-filled journey of self-discovery and irreverent mayhem.
And Awkwafina would play MLK while Dylan Mulvaney would play Malcolm X.
I’m sure it’ll be the next big hit from Disney!
You expect hypocrites to recognize cognitive dissonance?
And a white Frederick Douglas.
Nope.
One of my down the street neighbors, has a inflatable 8 foot black Santa Clause in their yard.
They are not black.......................
“Awkwafina” Never heard of her. I had to look her up.
Santa had 1200 slaves. Most picked cotton to make those furry frills on his coat. (You didn’t think those were real fur, did you?) The rest grew food and cut wood so the Santa and his small army of white elves would be warm while the slaves starved and shivered in their shacks at the North Pole. Santa is a brutal master. Did I mention that he has always voted straight party line Democratic? Usually several times in each election!
I wonder if Pepsi knows she’s ripping off the name of their bottled water?
Looks like they didn’t waffle on this issue either…
Lol!
Good for the residents of Ghent. Let them lecture the African female on conditions in black run subSaharan African countries.
Probably only because the “progressives” haven’t thought about it yet.
I don’t see anything wrong with a black Santa Claus serving a black community. But there sure is something wrong with a woke Santa Claus (of any color) scolding and lecturing.
At the very least, a woke Santa should be required to wear this sign around his/her neck:
Let’s talk about the heroic Shaka Zulu who impaled people on stakes as a holiday happening.
There are lots more cultural enrichment stories for the kids.
<< reeducate attendees about “colonial ideology” >>
Marxist woke ideology postulates that whites who move to historically non-white nations are colonizers who destroy “vibrant” indigenous cultures, while non-whites who move to historically white nations are de-colonizers who “enrich” their new countries.
