Thursday marks five years since the death of Maine’s most famous part-time citizen, former U.S. President George H.W. Bush.
Bush was born in Massachusetts, grew up in Connecticut and made his fortune in Texas but he also had a life-long connection to Maine. Specifically, his family's home in Kennebunkport at Walker's Point.
During his White House years, from 1989 to early 1993, he turned Walker's Point into his summer White House.

It’s a better world without that neocon.
A murderous neocon.
Maine hated him.
He ran third there in 1992, behind Clinton and Perot.
He wasn’t too bad. His biggest mistake was to raise taxes.
A true lifelong government/globalist dirtbag.
Read my lips took him down
A beautiful property.
George the 1st, the man to take “Read my lips” out of the Vernacular.
Here's hoping Trump won't have Nimrata foisted on him.
Five years?
My, how time flies when you’re having fun................
Time flies, five years since Pop Globalist, who marked time for America while the the Global Marxist Agenda was implemented with American's money Worldwide, died.
Glad to see I’m not the only one that loathed him.
Underrated. Think about it. The Soviets disarmed their nukes on his watch. Would you have wanted Dukakis in charge? Think rogue generals or even Vlad being in charge.
The presidency of Poppy Bush will always be remarkable.
Here we have a man who held the highest approval rating ever held by any president (90% after Gulf War). A year later he loses re-election to Clinton. Thanks to so called “conservatives”.
He’s resting in peace with Satan most likely.
Glad to see I’m not the only one that loathed him.

Not saying YOU are responsible, but so many people who “loathed” him are directly responsible for Bill and HIllary.
Perot voters.

Truth!
May he and Mrs. Bush rest in peace.
